I got excited because I thought the old Shadow Warriors arcade game aka Ninja Gaiden was now on PC.
Thanks TA! I also noticed there is a Redux version of this game on Steam for $1 atm. Is there much difference between the two? Can this "classic complete" version be played in widescreen resolutions with mouse look? Or should I get the Steam version for that?
I'm doing this from memory, but the Redux and Classic are the same I think.
And it supports mouse look and widescreen (1920).
Double check though as my memory may be incorrect.
Not certain on that - I have both games in my GOG library as separate items.
Redux uses a homebrew source port rather than the original engine. You could use proasm SWP (http://www.proasm.com/sw/swp.html) with the datafiles from the original game (and the community high res pack if you like) for basically the same thing.

One of those free games I've never got round to playing.
I remember this game back in the day. I played multiplayer for hours each night with a friend in high school. Lo Wang is a bit crass, but it was hilarious fun.
Already owned so couldn't add to my PileOfShame(TM)

You can play online free against others using Duke Matcher from www.dukematches.net - same game engine runs both Shadow Warrior and Duke Nukem 3D. Both are still amazing games to play and a lot more substance to them vs modern games imo.

No, not inside the game. But you can using the game's settings tool, it's a separate .exe you need to run.
