Support is in Australia too which is nice.

The included router on the 24 month contract is the Netcomm NF17ACV (http://www.netcommwireless.com/product/enhanced-vdsladsl-wir…)
The included router on the 12 month contract is the Netcomm NF10WV (http://www.netcommwireless.com/product/vdsl-adsl-n300-wifi-g…)
There is no included router on the month to month option.

Compared to many other NBN deals out there these guys are very well priced :D

Also - you can use your own equipment but it needs to support IPoE (static IP) on VLAN ID 100.

    • Just remember that there are many factors that dictate the speed.

My line speed at both sites have remained consistent and geographically they are ~50km apart on different POI's.

      Some factors to keep in mind;
      Technology type FTTN/FTTP etc
      The router/modem itself
DNS config - play around with google dns if you like
Router connection method - wireless vs copper (wireless will often give bad results depending on interference and congestion)
Co-existence (bandwidth used to support pstn services)
      Line quality
      Line distance
POI congestion (BuzzTelco do order more bandwidth for these POI's)
Speedtest server selection - some are just better than others

      • It has been working great in first week without any change. it's FTTP, router is brand new, devices are same. I can't comment if ISP changed anything from their but nothing from my side.

They are investigating still, but at least L3 is on it after 10 days and speed is gradually getting better.

        • One thing I think some people tried was using google dns 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 then rebooting the router - give it a shot

  • Is the Netcomm NF10WV any good? have read mixed reviews.

    • I think its worth getting the Netcomm NF17ACV instead, its been rock solid after the firmware update. they let you upgrade to it for $50 dollars from the Netcomm NF10WV if you go for the 12 month nbn option.

  • latest warning from me, this company has no customer service at all. signed up a month a gone and got $40 taken from my account, they are really quick on doing this. no contact at all since that. tried to call them all day today, no one answering.

    • It's a public holiday in qld today. That might explain why no one answered.

I found the customer service quite good whenever i contacted them. At least you are dealing with someone in Australia, rather than a call centre in the Philippines like TPG.

      • You are quite right, they did answered today and I am happy with the response. I guess they got too many orders and they are too busy to handle all, so have to call to chase.
