    $50 Netflix gets only 1000 points($5)

    So 10% back

    • Do you know if you can use these cards on a US (this USD) account?

      • No. They're tied to local accounts. I bought a heap last year at 20% off and they didnt work ony Canadian a/c. I asked Netflix & they confirmed its local Oz accounts and suggested I change :-)

        • Think I might be doing this now. There is no benefit since they shut down getflix and the like working.

        • @serpserpserp: with the GST now added, The Oz price isnt so competitive.

          Canadian pricing is $9, $10, $12
          Australia pricing $10, $14, $18

I think Brazil is cheaper. But when my Netflix cards run out I'll sign up again in Canada.

The EFTPOS offer is ok if you buy it with a 5% discounted wishcard. Net cost $53.1525 with $5 worth of Woolworths $. Profit isn't muchb $1.8475. Need to read the fine print as to how many you can get.

    • +3

      5

      • Also if you use a Plat Edge you get triple points for buying the Wishcard, so 797 points amex points (worth $7.97) and $9.2375 profit.

        • You actually spend 48.4x5=242$. So, you will get 726 points.

        • @zeter: You can only redeem $10 (2000 points) at a time, if you buy 5 cards, you will only redeem $20 with 1000 points to spare. You will also need to buy the first 4 cards and the last card separately to utilize the $20 Woolworth $.

So if you want to get really accurate you will receive 779 amex points taking into account the $20 saved.

        • @Elitebhy: If you let 1000 points in the reward card and dont use it anymore. Ok. I will accept your result.

    • I dont think your math is good enough.
      (55.95-5)x0.95=48.4025
      50-48.4025=1.5975

      • Nah I don't think your maths is good enough.
You don't get the $5 discount on the first card you buy, so you will need to buy $55.95 of eWish cards.
Essentially the profit is (5x50+5x5)-(5x55.95x0.95)=9.2375 or $1.8475 per card.

        • +3

          The answer is obviously 42.

        • If you let 1000 points in the reward card and dont use it anymore. Ok. I will accept your result.

        • +1

Nah, zeter's is more correct because the "real value" of the 1000 WW points is $4.75 (no opportunity to use discounted gift cards on WW points). That's the difference between each of your calcs - 25 cents.

        • @Wyn-Ryder: Actually it's less because also no opportunity to get credit card points. At 1pt = 1c you are looking at ~$4.70 with a standard card or ~$4.61 with a platinum edge.

      What eftpos offer?

  • Up to 2000 points? I only see 1000 points.

    • +2

      Fixed. Thanks :)

  • you get the point on buying egift card online right?

    • No

If you have an IOS device you would be better off buying iTunes cards on 15-20% special and subscribing to Netflix using that balance.

  • +3

Ultimate kids with cash rewards gift card

    $237.50 = $12.50
    5 cards x 1000 points = $25.00

$37.50 off $250 worth of Jb Vouchers, nice % 15 off.

    • Limit of 5 Eftpos cards per Woolworths Rewards Member.

I wonder if Ultimate kids is also limited to 5 cards?

      • I believe they are all counted as eftpos cards?

  • Can the netflix card be used on an account that's already using a gift card on it?

    • +1

      Yes they can.

      • cool thanks.

now to see how many cards we can buy and stack them.

        • I stacked $250 a while ago without any issues. Don't know if there is any cap in place. Didn't look to see though to be honest. Just figured if it caps out I'll put the leftover cards to the side and use them when the funds get lower. Similar to what I've had to do with psn and Nintendo gift cards.

It's actually more efficient to buy 20% off iTunes cards when they have them and subscribe to netflix that way. You obviously need a iPhone, iPad or Apple TV though or at least access to one.

    • Or android play carrier billing using an older telstra prepaid freedom plus ;-)

    • Does anyone offwr 20% off iTunes these days?

      • +1

Coles is doing 15% off iTunes starting Wed.

    • Do you need continuous access to an iDevice, or can you just start it from an iphone and then just top up the credit etc via itunes and the subscription keeps rolling, to watch via other means (ps4 etc)

      • +1

        Only need one-off access.

Once you start the sub from an IOS device, you need never login again. You can add discounted gift cards to your iTunes balance from a PC.

  • Flight center cards are technically goves 5% additional value.

Can we use in store or need to redeem online only?

Likewise asking what is the EFTPOS offer people have been talking about?

    • +1

Catalogue has $50 EFTPOS cards also listed with 1,000 bonus points but not mentioned in the deal

  • +2

Did anyone else notice the EFTPOS card says "….+5.95 Issue Free"

    • Nope - just checked Woollies catalogue online and it says "+$5.95 Issue Fee"

    • I see what you mean. The image on ozbargain definitely looks like Issue Free. I haven't checked the catalogue.

      • It was a typo. The pre-scan-pre proof document.

      • because the OP is copying it from the "main source" for this kind of deal ;) OP should now edit the photo using the official source.

        • I looked at the online catalogues (web page version and pdf) and they both have the typo.

        • @pointscrazy: well I guess it is too late to fixed

my comment above was just based on this reply, sorry I thought it was fixed.

        • @samehada:

I got my paper catalogue today and it had the "free" notation on it. I'm wondering how many people will attempt to get the $5.95 fee refunded on the basis of false advertising.

so i need to pay a flight centre bill at the end of the month, can anyone advise what the largest denomination of gift card there is as my travel agent said i can only use 1 per booking?

    • It is not correct about the only 1 per booking. I use many many many of them against my bookings with FC. I would ask the travel agent for clarification on this in writing on their website or ask another person or manager st the FC.

I have only ever seen $150 ones at woolies

      • Yeah it is not one per bill. I've just 20 in the one bill before.

Some are just lazy. My regular travel agent was on holiday and the one he referred me to whilst he was away told me that they now have to charge $49 fee for price beats per passenger…. this was for a $400 flight…

    • $150 max cards at Woolworths/Coles.

BIG NOTE with this offer. They issue vouchers for the additional 10%, which you claim online, and you can only use a maximum of 2 vouchers against a single booking, prior to November sometime I think.
Sure you can use multiple gift cards on a booking, but only able to use 2 vouchers it is not worth it, your saving stuff all for the trouble.

      • Thanks but found out a bit late… Used entertainment book wish gift cards to buy the FC gift cards (3x 150) and saw that mentioned on the receipt… I think my travel agent was referring to the evouchers

Done and works. Doesnt work on $100 cards.

Got 5 cards, but the 6th one didnt get points

    • If you bought the EFTPOS card, can you confirm if it's a $5.95 fee per card or transaction?

      • Per card

  • +1

The 5 cards limit applied on combined purchase of EFTPOS and Ultimate Kids.
i.e if you buy 3 Ultimate Kids you can only get points on 2 Eftpos.

This sale is getting more and more useless. The last sale does not have this kind of restrictions

    • Better than Coles. Coles has a limit of 1.

      • Not really, Coles promotion was 2000pts for $30 Ultimate Kids which is 33.33% discount.

Now the last $10 is stuck in the last transaction. And you can in fact buy 4 cards if you dont want to get 1000pts stuck there even after spending the last $10.

  • We should complain with WW about false advertising. T&C of the 5 cards limit is only stated for EFTPos gift card but they put the limit on the Ultimate Kids and even counted toward the EFTPos cards.

    • Ultimate Kids can also be counted as an EFTPOS card, limited acceptance though.See the back on the card has got "eftpos" sign.

      • not really, it is completely different with the eftpos card which can be accepted everywhere eftpos accepted. Ultimate Kids is only accepted at Dymocks, JBHifi, Rebel, ToysRUs.

The catalogue has specifically printed the EFTPOS card so T&C should be specifically address which card is limited.

  • Does anyone know with these limits of 5 cards per rewards card. To receive the points do you need to buy them individually or can they be purchased all at once and receive the 5000 points in one hit?

    • I bought 5 of them and got 5000points at once.

  • do they credit the points instantly?

so say you buy 2 cards for $100, get 2000 points
buy another 2 cards for $90 ($100, minus the $10 from 2000 points) and get 2000 points

so if you bought 4 cards with a face value of $200, you would have paid $190 in cash (or any other method such as discounted gift cards) and still have a $10 bonus on your rewards card to use?

    is my method correct?

    • the point will be credited immediately.

They credit 1120 points instead of 1000 points on my card

  • Points are received instantly.

Though Ive only purchased them seperately.
Im not sure if you purchased 2 or more in the same transaction if you recieve the points.

    Thats my question…

    • so can you redeem the discounts on giftcard purchases?

  • +1

I just bought 5 EFTPOS cards ($50 each card) this morning and got 5596 Woolworths Rewards Points.
$55.95*5=$279.75 and I paid by Woolworths eGiftCard.

    • I dont think these cards are worth it, what happened to the reloadable cards

  • can one buy a EFTPOS card $100 at woolies and still get the 1000 points? or is only $50 eftpos cards available or do promo terms state $50 cards only?

    • Turd said

      "Doesnt work on $100 cards."

  • -1

has anyone been successful in getting the card fee refunded by showing the printing error on the catalogue? and have they refund all five purchases issue fee or just the first one?
