    What is RRP on this?

Is this not faster card for $18 more: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-256GB-EVO-Plus-micro-SD-S…

They are both 95MB/s. The description has the speed wrong. I shows it right in the comparison down the bottom. The 200MB version is 90MB/s and this 256 version is 95MB/s.

      • But they both work at 20MB/s in a phone right?

        • Modern phones can write faster.

    • maybe, but its no better deal

  • Waiting for this to come back in stock - much faster card

  • the 64gb variant is also on sale, Is that a bargain? I need something for my raspberry pi

  • Make sure you test the SD card(s) you buy, there are a lot of fake SD cards out there today. Amazon will refund you.

The minimum write speeds are 10MB/s (speed class 10) for the Ultra, and 30MB/s (UHS speed class 3) for the EvoPlus or SanDisk Extreme.

  • I bought one of this for dashcam and it's broken after 6 months. No longer can write files. Make sure you retain invoice to claim for replacement.

      Invoice is online.

    • dashcam sellers and review sites regularly claim SanDisk is not made for dashcam use

  • They don't mention write speed.

As an alternative, you can get Samsung Evo+ here for a little bit extra.

This is rated at 95/90 which I assume is faster than the Sandisk. Was cheaper earlier in the week ($150 AUD). I didn't consider that a bargain though.

    • Telstra had the Evo+ for $150 a week or two ago. 90MB/s U3 write, so good to go in your 4K video camera

Guys, there are alot of fakes with SD cards. Buying from Amazon ensures you are safe from a fake. I do not recommend buying from unknowns or companies not under australian law where you can not get your money back.

    • I've heard that Amazon can be duped by their suppliers also. But in any case, returns are easy with Amazon, so you can still trust them.

  • Hey guys. Do phones support these larger cards if they aren't listed in the specs? I'm looking to get one for my V20 for UHD video recording and high bit rate music. The thing is I think it's only listed as supporting 128gb sd cards. I read a lot of these phones technically support up to 2tb cards though. However, I've also read some people have problems with them. Would hate to spend nearly $150 on something like this only for it not to work.

    Can anyone shed any light?

    • Your phone was probably made before 256GB cards were released. It should still work. They are the same card.

    • Not all cards work in all phones.
I have seen a 128GB card work in the Huawei P9 Lite, but not in the Sony E4g (32GB max according to gsmarena).

    • The V20, according to Android Central, can take "microSD up to 2TB". Obviously they're not available at that size, but they're definitely not limited to 128GB.

Edit: Re-read your comment. I've only used a 128GB card in mine. I'm waiting for these bigger cards to come down to a similar $-per-GB price before upgrading.
