Logitech G413 Mechanical Keyboard (Silver) - $105 + Delivery @ MightyApe

140

Great quality backlit mechanical gaming keyboard for not a bad price. I bought this last week and have been using it tonight ~ love it :)

It reviews well on the internet, it doesn't have the RGB stuff but I'm good with that. Don't know if the "Romer-G" switches are any better than "Cherry MX" switches but everybody will have their own opinions on that.

Most other places sitting at about $128+delivery. Delivery from MightyApe was $4.99 for me in Brissy.

There was one Carbon model left at time of posting for an extra $5… you'd better be in like Flynn if you want it!

  • Does anyone use these for non gaming? I have done some research but not getting many results.

    • I use a ducky zero, cherry blue for work. No frills mech keyboard like this one.

I find that mechanical keyboards are just nicer to use and feel better, the feedback when hitting the keys.
I personally prefer the cherry switches over the logitech romer switches.

Pretty much all high end computer parts and accessories use the "gaming" label, it doesn't mean anything.

        Not just high end!

    • I use a G610 exclusively at work (no frills mechanical "gaming" keyboard), and absolutely love it. So much more comfortable to type on than the Microsoft keyboard it replaced. It's a bit noisier than a normal keyboard, but the one I've got has Cherry "Brown" switches which are supposedly quieter than the other colours (never heard or used the others). I paid full RRP of $149 and don't regret it for a second.

      • I have the same keyboard but I picked up some rubber o-rings for 3 bucks on ebay and it makes the keyboard significantly quieter - although it does feel a bit different afterwards.

        • If I worked in a shared office then I'd probably feel a bit self conscious about the noise, but I've got my own so all good there. Thanks for the heads up though

  • There were quite a few reviews on Amazon UK, non-gamers:

Thank you all very much, really good advice.

Make sure you check the size of the keyboard.

I think that's pretty much all he looks at.

  • I snapped up the carbon model last night! Big love thx for the deal, OP

    • No worries zac :)

It seems that if MightyApe exhaust their own supplies they keep the listing open but with an extra few days wait to get a new batch in from their supplier.

Carbon model is still available for purchase with an extra few days wait….
