NQR has some interesting specials this week

First and foremost is the UP & Go for 50c. All I could see was the reduced sugar choc ice variety, but they are the extra large version, so for 50c its a pretty good deal. Keep in mind these are short dated, how do you like them fuzzy nipples, and expire 20 Sept which only gives you 2 months. But that's a best before, so they could potentially good for a lot longer

They also had

• Spicy hooplas 125g box for $1.50
• Wicked energy 500ml for $1.15 each
• Stoli ginger beer 4 for $2.50 (if you got on altomics deal way back then you'll know how good these are. Best ginger beer I've tasted) exp 7/17
• Coke ginger 1.25L for $1.30. (I'm waiting for these to get cheaper)

Of special note is Yankee Root beer 12pack for $7. If there are any fans of USA soft drinks here, this tastes just like A&W but significantly cheaper. It also has the benefit of being Australian Made. Expire date 2018

Lastly, do not try the alcoholic ginger beer. Stay away from the alcoholic ginger beer. At $4.80 it seems a good deal, but the gingers gone rancid or something. I tipped most of it out, and I never tip out liqueur. Did enjoy the Dovka I picked up though. $10, 22% alcohol 700ml. With the value of discounted liqueur, NQR might be my new goto place when I need something to wash away the pain. hehehe

    Yes! I know some people don't like the reduced sugar version, but they taste pretty good to me. Hint of choc instead of full on choc, that's the only difference I notice.

  I remember 18mths ago NQR had the exact same Stolli Ginger beer for $1.25 for a 4pk. They were great, but can't stomach paying 100% more for them.
