One way to Europe /from/ $689 as part of "youth rates"? Terrible deal.

        That sass.

so not only do you have crap deals, but you have a crap attitude as well. no wonder you can't get any sales in real life and try to rip customers off online.

        • -4

Haha mate that's a bit rough. If you did any research at all before firing off a comment you'd realise you're incorrect. Customers would save well over $200 in most cases with this airfare.

    • +9

Well mate before you give a neg, how about provide some links to the better deals you know of online. You know, something to back your claim.

Why? the onus should be on the "store rep", eg the salesman lazily trying to get quick and easy commission. This isn't an ozbargain user post here to help the community, this is someone trying to make a quick buck with minimal effort.

Because the voting rules say so, maybe?

$689 is quite cheap for one way. One way fares are always more expensive than returns. How about you give us some alternatives if this is a terrible deal. I was looking for one way flights fairly recently and this is cheap.

I'm honestly just wondering what people expect op to do. Sure the attitude isn't the best, but having worked in customer service, if people were hating on me for something that is out of my control I'd be quite pissed off too. Given this is an online forum, even less so should the op (affiliates or not) actually care about inflammatory, non-constructive comments. Have some heart people for goodness sake, it's honestly not a terrible deal, it's just a deal that doesn't apply to you and therefore it doesn't constitute as "good" in your books. No need for hate.

    • Duly noted Jaystea. Appreciate it.

Mmm not too appealing when you see deals for $900-$1200 return on quality airlines, available to anyone.

Unless you happened to want to stay in Europe a while…

    • +1

That's not what this is for. If you're moving to EU, or going round the world, or staying for 6 months without a return date etc.. you might want one way. One ways are always more expensive than returns.

      • Yeah fair enough, didn't think of that.

  • Can I get the same fare the other way? Girlfriends mother can get us reward flights over to Europe on the cheap but no return legs

    • What dates are you looking to return home mate? I know of a few fares that might help you out.

      • looking to return in january, any date from the 1st to the 25th. thanks mate.

        • If you fly after the 15th January mate it should be cheaper for you. That's the date that airlines go from peak season to shoulder season.

Thai Airways from Rome on the 17th January will cost you about $800 each if you're flying back into Brisbane. Flick me an email mate and I can throw you a couple options if you like.

  • oi harls, do a deal on business?

  • Decent deal for one way, keeping in mind that one way trips are considerably more expensive than half of a return.

  • Harley, the details of this deal would be much easier to read if it wasn't in all caps.
