The second-top airline in the world via the best airport in the world to one of the most visited city in the world, starting at $581 return!

For comparison, since keeping records, the first time we saw a big sale from Singapore in early 2024, the average cheapest price was $891.78 return. Last time we're at $757.60. This time we're at $622.71, albeit with Hobart and Canberra removed, which does help the average.

In addition to other Singapore Airlines deals:
- Bangkok, Thailand from $542 Return
- Tokyo, Japan from $717 Return
- Taipei from $580 return
- India from $709 Return
- Singapore from $523 return
- Seoul, South Korea from $$618 Return
- Vietnam from $582 return

this time around, it's definitely Hong Kong's time to shine.

Seeing a lot of discounted hotels as well.

  • Could it go the other way?

Ie Hong Kong - Sydney return via Singapore?

  • Does Singapore Airlines 'penalise' one way trips? i.e. will a one way trip be half of the return or no?

    • +1

One way is about 75% of the return price for my destination. Might be different for yours.

    • -1

Does any airline do this? I thought return flights are always cheaper per leg than a one way

      • LCCs do (at least ones using Navitaire should), they base their flights as individual one way fares.

  • Not a great time of year to visit but that's why they're cheap, I suppose!

    • Is it because of the weather? Possible typhoons?

  • I always think the image is a batrider…

    • upon closer check, it is worse ….

  • What's everyone's experience from booking from non-airline sites? Almost 300 dollar difference
