Awesome! Get to use my gift card from the Playstation Plus deal to get it for $50.85, cheering! Thanks OP.

    • Hey mate, could you please elaborate on what deal this is from? Many thanks :)

      • The gift card? JB listed PS+ codes far too cheap one night and cancelled all the orders the next morning. However they gave anyone that ordered a gift card as compensation.

Nice mate, no better gift card than a free apology gift card - doing us proud! ;)

Paid ~$120 for this at Officeworks a while back, so it's a good deal.

    macOS/MacBook Pro Users Beware

There are big compatibility issues with this and macOS Sierra or the latest MBP.

If you use it at the same time as a set of wireless headphones it's flat out unusable. Drops out every minute or two.

    General macOS issues: https://community.logitech.com/s/question/0D53100005mbrSHCAY…

Specifically the MBP and Headphones: https://community.logitech.com/s/question/0D53100006nPWmLCAW…

Yes I posted this last time, I don't want anyone to be as disappointed as I was.

This would explain why my Logitech Mouse lags/disappear on my Macbook. Haven't really touched the mouse since the issue appeared.

I have been using the MX Master and Anywhere 2 with my Macbook Air (2015) and Macbook Pro (2016)
both connected using BT and have no issues with drop out

Tho I am not using any wireless headphones at the same time…

Thanks for this, mine is playing up connected via USB and no Bluetooth headphones in use.
Have tried 2 sets, both exhibit the identical issue, mouse lags. Sierra 10.12.5

    • Is it the same on the 2s?

  • get this one or the mx 2s?

    • The mx2s will be nearly double this price.

    • Unless you're running multiple OS/PCs and want 1 keyboard/mouse to rule them all, the I say this. Try Synergy and it works the same, but less intuitive.

This may have less battery life but doesn't warrant the price difference.

  • Good mouse. Keep in mind there is a newer model that was just released. I have switched to the Logitech trackball m570, though. It is currently around $45 delivered through Amazon us.

    • How do you find the trackball? Is it worth it?

      • +1

I'd suggest you try it out somewhere if you can. Took me a while to get used to it but I work faster now. The only downside is that this trackball is right handed only. There's a wired model that is ambidextrous though.

        • thanks!

    I love mouse

  • Have always had issues with the Anywhere2 using Bluetooth, issues disappear when plugging the receiver in and switching the mouse over to use the receiver.
My suspicion is the 2.4GHz spectrum is simply getting to busy these days and more efficient protocols are required to dodge and weave around interference from other devices (headphones, WiFi, security devices, etc…)
This is with a Lenovo Thinkpad, problem also applies to other BT mice.
Might be time these short range devices headed to >10GHz

    • I'm pretty sure the unifying receiver is 2.4 as well

      • It is 2.4, but is likely using the spectrum more efficiently than WiFi & Bluetooth, thus no issues.
I'd be curious to know how many of the people whom are continuing to have issues with the receiver plugged in are unaware that they actually have to set it to use the receiver, and are thus still inadvertently using bluetooth?
Being the owner of 2 logitech devices that have this functionality it's not hard to end up in this state if you're not paying attention.

  • Is the new mx2s out in Australia?

    • +1

      Not yet. Only preorders.

Just purchased a new Logitech gaming CORDED mouse. Night and day difference compared to my old MX Logitech wireless. Wouldn't dream of going back to wireless if it's for gaming.. For general use / browsing / document use they're find but avoid wireless mice if you're into FPS's and the like. (My 2c)

    • +2

To be fair, you shouldn't have been using a MX mouse to play games in the first place.

      • The MX518? ;)

    • +2

You should really give the specific Logitech G series wireless mouses a go before writing off wireless types. I'm the opposite, I wouldn't go back to wired mouses.

      • Yeah after my experience with the MX I wasn't keen on wireless. It's a G series corded. Has made a big difference in FPS gaming too.

  • Was thinking of getting one for work. Do you need Admin rights to install software etc? I'm sure the mouse will work but might miss out on some functionality?

    • Without the Logitech software, it worked for me but you don't get some of the functions like the fast scrolling - which is what I wanted.

I like this mouse and use a couple of other fast scroll Logitechs - the only issue I find is there appears to be a delay when you finish a fast scroll. This is noticeable particularly when you are using Google maps in Chrome. If I move the mouse over the map it suddenly zooms in or out. I have to wait a couple of seconds for the mouse to "stop scrolling" even though the wheel is not spinning. (Like it has a memory)

  • got one, thanks OP

  • This is an awesome mouse - I have 2 and they have worked flawlessly.

  • Good mouse.

  • Whats the 5% off coupon ?

ignore . just found it in my emails

  • Great mouse, has anyone had a double-clicking problem with it though? I think buttons wear out too fast.

    • oh is it? Bought it today after my previous logitech had issues with the single click being detected as double click.
