I thought ill make one combined post for pre owned handsets and new genuine Samsung accessories & see if you guys are interested in it. We have never sold pre owned handsets here on ozb but i felt like posting this here since these handsets are practically new & have atleast 12 month Samsung Australia warranty & Sony Australia Warranty respectively.       We will provide an invoice with imei number. In case of problems, you need to send that invoice over

        If the screen or warranty has been voided with Samsung, would a warranty claim still be applicable with phonebot for the 1 year period?

        If these were corporate users, i suspect they would have got these repaired "properly" and under warranty with Samsung.

      Unless the phone was damaged say broken screen? Then repaired by a 3rd party all warranty will be void. You don't know what condition they were in before sale. Just a warning

        You still are covered by the consumer guarantees set out in the ACL. Phonebot has to provide a remedy if the manufacturer refuses the warranty.

      I got mine this morning with Optus firmware installed (Android 7).

          Apart from Optus branded boot/shutdown animations and an removable 'My Optus' app, it's all Samsung's extras. I've got a couple of days to go on Optus before I port over to Kogan, so I'm thinking of reflashing to Samsung's unbranded Australian firmware.

    We're we supposed to receive a tracking number when the phone is shipped out? I haven't heard anything apart from the order confirmation and Ozbargain rep email but see that phones have already been delivered to others early this week.

      If it's any consolation, I didn't receive a tracking number. I got an email from erroorfree Friday 11pm saying the order had shipped and they'll follow up with a tracking number on Monday, however the phone was delivered just before 8am Monday (north metro Sydney).

      Obviously with that experience I think Phonebot's service is fantastic. But I do know what it's like to be waiting on things, especially frustrating when it's days after others have received theirs. I hope erroorfree keeps up the good communication and you get your phone soon.

      • I just received the tracking info an hour ago. I'm assuming the details arn't live yet as putting it into the Auspost website revels nothing.

        Is it safe to assume that they were shipped out today(as opposed to packed and ready to be posted tomorrow)? Just wondering so I can plan if I should be at the delivery location if it arrives.

    Just called Phonebot and was told the last batch of orders have been packed and will be dispatched tomorrow for most, delivery will be Monday - hopefully :)

    I ordered on 19/7 and got an email to say it was shipped on 27/7. Only managed to check the status with Fastway Couriers today (28/7) - which says it was picked up 2.12pm today in Melbourne. Let's hope I get a pristine unit with no issues. Cos a 2 week wait plus issues is really going to p*** me off. In hindsight I suggest you receive the stock and check them first before putting them up for sale.

    • Exactly the same situation for me. The item was marked as shipped on 27/7 but was not picked up by Fastway Couriers until next day 28/7 at 2.12pm.
      Saying that I think it's very unfair to first have such a long wait, then item being marked as shipped without actually being shipped.

      I really hope the phone is worth the wait!!
