Urgh, multiplayer-only DLC is just stupid. Doom was a great single player game but the multiplayer aspect held my interest for a total of 3 minutes.

Yes, they were great. However, they were loooong ago in a galaxy far away before the idea of DLC came along.
Multiplayer-only DLC reduces the pool of people playing the multiplayer aspect - you end up with a small percentage that have all the multiplayer maps because they love the game, a significant percentage who have the original multiplayer maps only, and another small percentage that have the original plus one DLC. In this case, you've got 3 types of DLC, which then splits the multiplayer fanbase into at least 5 different groups.
I'm sure it's great fun, but I spent waaaay too much of my life playing games like the original Doom and Quake and Hexen with such pixelated graphics. They were great at the time but gaming has evolved so much since then that I find them hard to revisit for more than 5-10 minutes of novelty play time.

That's how I feel about all shooters now. Singleplayer is great, MP I have no interest.
I'm all for the cinematic moments and the set pieces. MP has none of that.

I purchased the season pass only a month ago. Oh well, only $15, which is the same price I paid for the game, so $30 all in and the game is great, so I can hardly complain.

The version with torches was a fail.I have use PC and Xbox One but find the mouse much easier to aim so tend to use the PC more.

That was Doom III. Yeah it was a stupid idea. Marines in the 22nd century have no way of attaching flashlights to their rifles? Or didn't have night vision goggles of some sort? Gimme a break.

Runs great on ULTRA 1080p if you have a radeon r9 270 or above and use vulkan mode.
It's ridic how much this game is optimised for radeon cards.
$18 isn't bad - has the game ever been that low before? I'd be tempted to buy it if it weren't for the fact that performance was only adequate on my GTX660. Frame rate didn't seem to go much higher than 40 fps… definitely playable, though. After a while you got into the game so much that you didn't even really notice.
It's currently $15 at Big W. But yes, this is the best price its been for digital.

PC. Interestingly, the game ran slightly faster on high graphics settings than it did on medium. I'm not really in the mood to upgrade, though, despite my card being 5 years old, it still handles 90% of games at 50-60fps or above. Doom just isn't one of them.
