  • Very tempted to get this to replace my Logitech G700s. Anyone have experience with this mouse in fps games (csgo) and/or general gaming?

I've had one of these for a few years, any (and I mean ANY) residue on the mouse's charging points will stop it from docking properly. I have a clean mousepad and gaming area but every couple of days I'd need to scrub the charging pads before it'd charge. I've just gotten used to using it wired. Great mouse though, it's ambidextrous for you lefties and I never detected any extra latency in wireless mode.

Do note you'll need a Mac to dismiss the critical firmware update in the Steelseries software. Firmware updates fail on Windows for myself and a lot of other people. I haven't really seen any issues with my outdated firmware but it's worth taking into consideration.

    • This isn't a newer model?

  • Do I need a new mouse… no
Did I buy this bloody mouse … yes
    Thanks OP!

    • Great! Buy now think later ozb philosophy

  • Reviews made me hold back a bit - minor lag in wireless, bit slow to wake up. Although some comments said that's not a thing these days. For the price that's excellent for a high end wireless!

What pee me off about this mouse is "why does it take a couple second for it to wake up?"

This is Logitech G403 Prodigy Wireless money. Provided the shape is to your liking it's a way better performing wireless mouse.

  • Razor Mamba is dying, anyone know how this mouse compares?

  • +1

I have the non-wireless Sensei and I can say that it's not worth the money. The big problem is the mousewheel dies after only a few months of medium use. It starts slipping and either missing registering a wheel movement, or registers it backwards. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING. This seems to be a common problem among variants of the Sensei range.

The feel and quality seem great at first. The software is OK and you don't really need it (other than to turn off excessive LEDs). Other than that it's nothing too special. I do appreciate that it's ambidextrous. It's hard being a left hander in the gaming world.

    • Can confirm my old sensei raw's mousewheel click stopped working after 1-2 years, but I really expected a mouse like that to last way longer

    • Shame to here that - i have a sensei non raw (has an oled screen on the bottom), and it worked a few years (4?) Before middle click was too sensitive
