this. need some good 1440p ones!

    It's not 1440p. Resolution is only 2560 x 1080.

    • it's 21:9…

  • Getting three FHD 21-inch monitors with thin bezel instead is much better.

  • I bought this monitor about a month ago and love it.

I don't game, just do heaps of work in Office and it's great for that.

The LG software to divvy up the screen is both useful and annoying.

And I know it goes without saying but it's big. Everybody who walks past my desk goes, "Phwoa…"

So if you're doing heaps of documents etc I recommend it.

    • dont forget excel. have 1 in my home and 1 in my office. lifesaver

      • I try to forget about Excel as much as humanly possible…

Got this in december last year when an ozbargainer found an overseas deal for like $280

It's a good monitor and I do enjoy it

      Only two issues I have

I seem to be a heavy finger fast typer, so sometimes I give the table a little shake and the monitor wobbles a bit
      Secondly
I think curved screens are much better at this size
I have trouble looking at each corner of the monitor without moving my head

      • I agree with the wobble. I've since moved mine up on a DIY stand and no more wobble.

And yes, looking to the edges of this thing is a problem. Curved would be better.

    • when 75hz freesync version was available in msy ultimo, i picked two up for 215 each, their pricing error. best deal ever

    • Just be aware that the 29" ultra wide is only about as high as a 24" monitor (33cm)

      • But at least has a dpi higher than 34 inch

      • I think a 24" monitor is 30cm tall. and a 29" ultrawide is 29cm tall.

    • Thanks, grabbed one of these. Can only use two screens (including the laptop screen) without the dock when I work at home, so hopefully the split screen functionality will allow it to be almost like like having 3 screens.
