  • Do you have to buy one a time ("per purchase"?)

    • +1

The terms say nothing specifically to that end…I did five separate transactions for my five boxes. Given how easy it is, I'd suggest you do the same.

  • Plenty at Coles parkmore in Keysborough

  • +1

If you get the coles deal this week, essentially its a movie and chocolates for $9.50
Decent deal, good for a binge

  • +3

    Just grabbed two, thanks OP

  • Plenty at Coles smith street Fitzroy VIC

  • Grabbed two from Macquarie Centre. Plenty left

  • You can only claim on ticket at a time

  • +3

Important to note that you'd need to upload a scan of the receipt. Submitting the form then spits out this message (emphasis mine):

Thank you, your receipt and claim registration has been submitted.

    Claim ID: ########

A confirmation email has been sent to your nominated email address.

Please allow up to 5 business days for your claim to be processed and validated.

Successful claimants will be sent their free movie ticket via email within 5 business days.

If your claim was invalid, you will be notified via email within 5 business days.

Dang. I was planning on going to the movies tonight…

    • +4

Okay, just got my email of the ticket - 8 hours after submitting a claim. Here are some notes:

      • Ticket expiry is a minimum of 3 months. Mine expires 31/01/18.
      • Ticket is a unique URL, which opens a new tab when clicked on in the email.
      • Just submitted my claims, hoping for a long expiry =)

  • +1

Got the tickets. Used 1 receipt for 2 claims.

  • +1

Submitted 5 claims yesterday, all in quick succession, they processed them very fast and by the end of the day I'd received 4 tickets. Yes only 4. Yes I've checked spam folders etc. Now I've got to work out how to contact them to sort out what happened to the 5th - grrrr.

    • Lucky. I havent received any tickets yet. Sent in 8pm last night.

    • Did u get last one?

    • Did you have to contact them and did you get this resolved? Exactly same thing has happened to me.

  • +2

Anyone else disappointed they took out the mint bubbly in the promotional packs?!

    • +1

I hate the Marvellous Creations popping candy crap. I love Mint Chocolate, I miss Mint Bubbly.

  • +1

Looks like the list of cinemas is incorrect in the original post. Just bought 7 packs. Realised there is not a cinema near me :(

  • Bought two more tonight, to bring my total to 5. I got two boxes for $20 at Coles Box Hill (not many boxes left). Helped me to reach my last "Spend $60 for four weeks and get 10,000 Bonus Points".

I then submitted my first claim. Uploaded receipt and first code. Wonder how long it will take to get my movie ticket.

    • +1

Took 36 hours for my tickets to get sent to me and both say they expire on 31/1/18.

      • I went to the movies tonight, to the cinema I want to use the tickets for. I still managed to get a Telstra Ticket for $12.50 anyway, but my free ticket would have been nice. Looks like it will be next week some time I'll get it.

      • Which cinema chain gives the Jan expiry?

        • +1

          Village

  • Bought two packs, just read updated list - none near me.

    • If you can't use them, maybe try selling them on Ozbargain classifieds. People are generally trustworthy here.

  • Anyone have any idea how much the surcharge for VMax would be for Event Cinemas?

    • Depending on the location $3 or $4

  • Anyone near IGA might want to look out on Thursday. These chocolates are part of Market Day (VIC) specials on Thursday for $7.99. Whether they have the marked packs or not, who knows.

Anyway, how long are we expected to keep the box packaging and receipts? Only until once we receive or redeem the ticket? Or forever and a day?

    • +1

Anyway, how long are we expected to keep the box packaging and receipts?

I received my tickets in a day (longer if submitted during the weekeend), where I chucked mine out after that.

  • +2

They are on special at Coles again from tomorrow for $9.50

  • Has anyone used theirs? Do you actually need to print the voucher or can event cinemas scan the bar code?

    • +1

I've used mine already. Screencapped the barcode zoomed in and showed that on my phone (at Village anyways).

      • Thanks!

      • +1

        What move did you see?

        • +2

          Baby Driver!

Despite the unassuming name and its slightly-too-annoyingly-arrogant protagonist, the movie is definitely worth a watch.

  • Does anyone know if there is any claim restriction per household (i.e. limit of 5)? From what I understand from scouring the T.Cs the limit is only 5 per person so therefore I am assuming yes?

    • Can confirm there is no restriction on household as my dad and myself managed to redeem 5 each. Now the big question is what to do with 5.4 kg of chocolate.

      • That is the problem I face.

  • So what do they exactly send you?

a code for website? Or a coupon with your name on it?

For me its another case of I dont want to give them my full name and details

    • +2

They send you an email with a unique barcode. No name attached, can be used by anyone.

The only details you need are; email, code from box and a scan of the receipt. The rest can be made up.

  • Apologies if this has been asked, in a rush to get to bed.

How did people go with multiple packs on 1 receipt? I had 2 reciepts. One contained 1 box of chocs, got the movie ticket. My other had 3 box of chocs and still only got 1 movie ticket despite leaving a clear note with the receipt stating the 3 individual codes.

Figuring I'll have to contact them but just curious if this happened to anyone else?

    • +1

not sure I entirely understand, I still have to go through the process my self though someone mentioned that here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/4927974/redir

      • +1

I meant I had 3 on a single receipt. They processed it and instead of giving me 3 movie tickets I only got one. Probably computer generated, I'm sure if I speak to a real person it'll get fixed up.

As far as I know the eligibility was 1 ticket for 1 box regardless of how you buy them. But if anyone is about to buy these I'd keep them at 1 per receipt just to make life easier.

        • +1

oh i am not with it today, didn't even read his comment properly. i don't understand where you left a note and presumed you need to submit the application several times with the same receipt. oh well sounds like i might need to call them as well since mine are all on the same as well.

edit: yeah people are able to claim with same receipt https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/4937918/redir

        • +2

          @Savas:

No that's okay I'm running on no sleep so i thought it was me :)

Yep looks like contacting them will be needed to fix mine up, possibly yours too but see how you go first.

When I submitted mine I edited the scanned image of my receipt to list the codes for each box on the receipt (you need to keep the boxes of chocolates, they have a code printed inside each one) - I thought it would be a no brainer for them but apparently not. When I get time I'll call them and report back on how it goes. Flat out for the next few days though :(

        • +2

@Click_It: Thank you, i get what you mean now. The page does say "Each Claim must be submitted separately" so i think you have to fill the form out 3 times with the different codes. Good luck, i also contacted their support when i had a question and the lady was helpful.

        • +1

          @Savas:

Ah good to know thanks. I'll ring them when my work week from hell quietens down a little. Hopefully Friday arvo.

I've got a lot of movies to watch now as I also got a few "Buy 1 get 1 free" from a recent Kellogg's promotion, not as good a deal as this one but half price still beats full price.

        • +1

@Click_It: Yes, claim three separate times using the one receipt. They will be able to see from the receipt you purchased multiple items. I had no problems claiming this way for five tickets using three receipts.

Let me just say though, I am all chocolated out. Anyone want some free Turkish Delight?

        • +1

          @sparkles:

Legend! I've just submitted the same receipt 2 more times.

Had another pack but the wife decided she'd toss the box after gobbling down all the chocolates so that's a movie gone begging (lost the unique code with it). I'll pinch the codes first thing next time.

$9.50 at Supa IGA this week.

    • Awesome, thanks for the heads up.

      • Can confirm that my local IGA had marked packs when these were on special recently.

  • +1

Just bought 4 boxes at $9 each at Kmart in Carrum Downs with the movie tickets

  • Anyone having any issues redeeming the tickets? I submitted mine on 17/8, got an immediate reply on an email saying "Your claim is currently being processed. Please allow 5 business days for your claim to be validated" but I haven't received any tickets yet until today.

    • submitted 2, 1 got the next day… other still waiting

  • Annoying thing though you can't book online.

Has to be at the counter.

How much earlier before a movie start can you book your seat? Beginning of the day for evening viewing?

  • submitted 2, got 1 after 3 hours,

still waiting for the other one

    • Did you get other one or have to call them?

  • Anyone got a used (ie no longer required) receipt they are willing to upload here. Bought a couple of boxes few weeks back but can't find the dang receipt. Would be much appreciated. Cheers.

    • I'm happy to take your codes and half the tickets with you lol. I bought a few boxes through online shopping coles the other week and just opened today trying to claim but only found out they gave me the old boxes!!! So annoying.

      • Sorry champ already used. Found the receipt in the car.

        • cheers!!!

    • Family member with memory issues threw out my receipts😠 Just have the empty boxes with codes.
Contacted promoter, but couldn't help as per t&c.
So will buy a few packs, scan receipt & return for refund after approved. No promo packs left in local stores now.
      Worth a try.

      • How did you contact the promoter?

Had boxes with codes that arent properly printed :(

        • Via Contact in menu of promo redemption link. Responded within day.

        • @Infidel: thanks

        • @tajid:
          Good luck

        • Have you got the problem sorted yet?
Went to buy them on the last day of promotion and found two at local coles.
Ripped the boxes open when got home, only found unrecognisable codes…
really upset with lots of chocolates but no tickets.
Have sent email to support team, hoping they can sort it out…

        • @malienno: yup just need to email them and send proof & all sorted within days.

        • @tajid:
          Great! What a relief 😅
          I’ve taken photos of everything.
          Thanks for the info!

  • The Event Cinema's tickets I recieved are 28/02/2018 expiry!

All boxes purchased on the one reciept, redemption went through yesterday (Sunday) an hour after submitted.

  • +1

    $9.50 at Woolworths starting 30/08.

  • If I buy and redeem it now, will the ticket last until October for Thor Ragnarok release?

  • Has anyone who redeem their voucher at Event cinemas, do you still get your points towards a free movie when using these?

  • +1

Dammit, wife threw out the box. Now I have a receipt and no code. If anyone has a spare code they aren't using i'd be eternally grateful.

    • +2

I read your comment like wow that would suck, my mum also threw out one of my packaging as well. I hope you enjoyed the chocolate, at least i did.

  • +1

$9.50 at Woolworths starting tomorrow; 13/9

  • +1

Are these still available? Last ones i have seen have normal packaging.

    • +1

Saw them at my local Coles today, but it is a quiet store so stock may not move that fast.

      • +1

        Interesting, thank you!!

  • +2

Got two boxes from woolworths today. Redeemed at 1pm, tickets by 2.30. Expiration date 30/4/2018

DON'T WASTE YOUR TICKET WATCHING "IT"! STEPHEN KING SHEEPLES CLAIM IT'S GOOD, BUT IT'S GARBAGE!

  • Got the last box of these with free movie promo last week at a Brisbane Coles. New stock did not have promotion. So check box has prominent Free Movie label on front!

  • $9.50 @ Coles Endeavour Hills.. Plenty on a display near the orange juice section

  • Has anyone else had problems printing out the tickets? I have claimed the tickets using the codes from the chocolate boxes. I have then been sent emails with links to print out the tickets. When I click the link I get an error saying something is wrong and to try again in 24 hours.

    • experiencing the same, how did you go?

  • Anyone found that stock of these marked packs is non existent now?

  • Does anyone have an unused receipt? (or receipt of cadbury with no free ticket mark? Have a spare code to claim.
