Merbau Solid Wood Stand for Headphones $6.99 US / $8.99 AU Delivered @ GearBest

610

I got a couple of these from GB the other day, solid wood and look good. They normally sell for $20 at GB.

I have seen similar wood stands sell for $20 + on eBay and Aliexpress. I ended up paying $6.31 AUD using GB points so pretty happy with the purchase.

Maybe overly sensitive but I'm very reluctant to purchase any wooden product from an Asian site esp a bargain one.

So true I will be sceptical too,my first thought is how this thing passes the border security aka customs being wood. Don't you have to pay to them to get wodden items quartined before they reach destination.

Good point, must admit I was thinking of the source, but, yeah, natural product should be quarantined. Could do way more damage than any number of human immigrants but since there's no news value to doing this, maybe not!

  • Might get stuck at customs, especially wood products.

Mine were delivered within 3 or 4 weeks with free unregistered shipping, so I don't think it got held up at customs as it would have taken much longer if it did.

  • Says 76 left but cannot add to cart?

    • There were 76 units when I first posted, it is showing 20 units remaining for me but I can't add it to my cart, so most likely out of stock. Check back tomorrow with these flash sales when the stock counter runs down to zero they add more units and reset the counter the next day.

I normally put a command hook on the back of my monitor. It's a couple dollars and does a great job for me.

    • I mcguyver'd a paperclip with sticky tape to my monitor to hold my headset.

    rip no stock :(

    • 76 items left?

    • Check again tomorrow as I have seen these flash sale items reset their stock counter the very next day with more stock being added, but for now I will mark the deal as expired.

  • doh! missed out

I have a stand like this but I find that is ruins the foam padding of the headphones, squishing it, so I can't allow myself to use it.

Does the wood stand come with the headphones?

  • I still able to purchase it

  • Damn missed it. I wonder although how you would go with getting it through customs though since it's wood. Don't customs take a particular look for wood products from overseas, say from China?. Wonder if you might get hit up with a customs inspection and quarantine fee which would be way more expensive than the actual product is.

  • Mine arrived today. Bit over a week, although I paid a couple of bucks for the faster postage. Summing it up, nice solid wood that came quickly.
