How are these better than the regular $2 muesli bar sales Coles/Woolies have almost every week? Except it costs more.

    • At the end of the day, everything comes down to taste. And marketing.

      • Correctumundo, and marketing doesn't mention the gluten free ones are 20% sugar, sugar must be cheaper than gluten????

How else are they going to make it taste good? Stevia. Pah!

Yes I do realise the irony. I recognise the pitfalls, but I also like the taste of these!

They are generally larger & much better quality (variety of grains/nuts).

At this price its a no brainer.

    • Best tasting bars IMHO. Also larger individual size than most other muesli bars as well

    • Why does anything cost more than home-brand substitutes?

  • +1

Yay. These are the best. Cheers for the info OP!

  • At the coles I went to last night it was $2.80 for the normal ones and $2.90 for the protein

Cheaper to just spoon sugar out of the bag.

I picked up a box of the Roasted Peanut, Pistachio & Honey Protein Bars and I was very disappointed, sure they taste great but they're very deceptive. I love Pistachios but the ingredients list has them at only 2%, of a 40g bar, that's like 1 or 2 Pistachios per bar. Yet the packaging shows lots of round, green things on the bar. Bloody Pepitas! I feel so ripped off, never buying any of their products again.

So deceptive! I thought I was going to get a car, man, but there was no voucher inside the box for a car, man. I've never felt this deceived since the day I heard about a FIRE sale.
