  • i brought at least one and half years ago for less then $100.

    • I bought mine for $78 back then. Good times.

Just wonder why you bought it at $78, and post the same SSD on $116 as a deal?

        • +1

Because there's a worldwide shortage of SSDs and the price has spiked. Just trying to help the OzBargain community. Failed on this occasion.

      Yes no deal.

OK, my bad. Post the deal.

It's not on sale at MSY, it's the everyday price.

        • -4

Still a better deal than the EVO.

        • +4

@Chateau: you cant compare a Samsung ssd with sandisk..

        • -3

@Ryxxi: I've had zero issues with mine and Crystal Disk Info tells me they're still tip-top after a years heavy use.

  • +6

Rather spend extra and get the Samsung

  • +9

Samsung 850 EVO is probably the better deal for $4 more.

    • +7

Much more reliable and better performing, plus the extra 10GB is 4.17% more storage for 3.45% cost. No brainer.

    • Not compared to the $95 price from MSY it isn't. Samsung 850 EVO is more like $24.95 more compared to this. http://www.msy.com.au/nswonline/home/15902-sandisk-ssd-plus-…

Well I wasn't referencing the $95 price from MSY, so…

But since I'm a bit of a computer snob, I'd still be going with the Samsung if it were my main drive (or, ideally, an nVME drive). I'd use the SanDisk for media, but that's about it.
