Works in Melbourne …… Should see the rush at 12 noon ……. Great price for a hot lunch, as soon as it finishes will need to find other options ….not paying $9.90 for small Macca's meal. ….$5 is ok for work day lunches.

I showed the guy, did the process and it got to the last step and said "Error, order in person".
So the server asked the manager on duty who put it through.
@ATangk: check your credit card statement. I had that error a couple days ago and found that even though the order didn't go through, the payment did!
It doesn't work in Aldinga SA for me.
It did let me check it out just once though, but I showed up at the drive through and they said my order contained no items. Manager was really nice, took my word for it and gave me the meal anyway. Checked my bank and didn't get charged. Haha.

my trick is to choose store in which it works and then switching store to your local at checkout and deal remains there.
Can confirm I use it any time of day when ordering through the app.

They are matching the Whopper deal.
McDonalds is too perfect. A McFeast might be more like a Whopper if they threw the bag against a wall before serving it.

SA has been on 10c refunds for a while! Provided I haven't killed myself by eating 1000 McFeast meals before the deal expires, I'd be well on my way to saving $150 (from $5000!)
Have you tried replacing the coffee in a mcmuffin meal with a baby chino? You get something like a $3.50 discount if you do that. Enough to buy coffee from whatever other Cafe you like. Good hack if you want the mcmuffin and hash brown but don't like the McDonald coffee.

is it similar to the kfc app, where you can make the order @ home on wifi and then just tell them the order number at the store?

Drive through works like KFC does from home. But instore you have to click the check in button within 50m of the store. They have free wifi though.

The Maccas app always crashes for everyone. It's up there in the most unstable apps ever, and they seem to refuse to fix it.
Just go into your WiFi settings, find the Maccas Free one, connect to it, open up a new browser page, and accept the terms and conditions that'll pop up, and then you're good to go.

Wrong. I ordered it a couple days ago.
Pricks removed it from the app for WA and they've also disabled maccas ordering for all but 1 store around me when I used to be able to use the app for every store around me.
I'm not sure why it is only WA. But I thought I would ring and check, because the in-store advertising had been removed when I walked past this morning. There goes my morning snack. :(

Shame you can't upgrade to a medium meal for say $1. The small meals are just a bit too small to fill me up.
They still have the $1 hamburgers or you can upgrade to the small gravy fries for $1.10

My local in WA didn't have it on the menu list, but the manager looked something up and saw it was a promotion and put it through as a double cheeseburger so I got it for $4.95.
