I've used this microwave a bit at a relative's house. It works well, very quiet when in operation, and easy to 'swipe' up more time…
But, the tune it plays when it finishes is a little annoying after a while. I'd prefer a few beeps like most microwaves, not some cheesy tune.
We have the MS4266OBS which is quite similar but more expensive and has the dial.
Have been using it for couple months and we can say that it is the best microwave we had use so far.
Was comparing it with more expensive Samsung and Breville ones as friends have those.
IMO it heats up food quicker and more evenly, very easy to clean and looks the best.
The opening and door closing also softer which gives the feeling of more quality product.
Like with most microwave, start button will start the microwave for 30 sec with same increments, while the dial provide 10 seconds increments.
As for the tune, we never find it annoying but maybe because we also have Tefal pressure cooker which make similar sounds, and after hearing the tune for couple months we do prefer this instead of the standard microwave beeps since it is not as loud.

4266 is good guys exclusive apparently, basically the same but has the knob instead of touch panel inside door, i didn't like the knob though
It looks like since it's got the knob (hehe), all the controls are in the door of the unit, is that right? Would that mean the hinge is a weak point for the model as the control cable for the door mounted controls would experience a lot of flex?
A few months ago I replaced my 5 year old Panasonic Microwave with this microwave and it is great. Paid $250 (from $269) at HN with $39 Product Care. Got a $20 Etpos card (HN)+ 2x Gold Class tix(LG) with it.
Initially asked if they would price match BG ($230??) but they said no. I knew but i thought i'd ask anyway.
I am considering doing the same.. although my Panasonic is still going (it won't dieeeee). What advantages have you found between the two?
My Panasonic Inverter microwave was better at sensor reheating. The LG takes forever and over cooks it, BUT that might be me not pressing it correctly.
If this LG lasts longer than 5 years, i'd buy it again.

Harvey had the full black which i got for 235 last month. Even though it looks like a bezel free iphone next to the oven ,its a finger print magnet.Performs well.No sound,fast microwaving …
Fix the thumbnail pic. I suggest changing it to this.
