Depends. If you travel, I think the explorer is best. Travel credit offset the annual fee. I truly regret getting the essential. As a result, I could not take advantage of the massive points awarded during those explorer card promotions.

Yeah I believe so. The approval process is much easier than the banks that's for sure. You also get 100k bonus points to go along with all the benefits that you listed.
