Kinda sad the app sometimes doesn't work. The other day me and 2 other colleagues wanted to get the $5 big mac meal. Walk to our closest store, tried to check in and errors on 3 of our phones. Talked to the store manager that he can't put the deal in as the system doesn't have the deal. End up wasting 30 minutes of our lunch time.

I was about to say the same… My orders didn't go through but they charged me 4 times, contacted Macca's, they told me to call my bank instead
Had similar with an old credit card number. Put new in and worked fine.

Will have to try it but I've tried ordering Nuggets on the app before (without the special) and it's never accepted through the app for some reason.
The nuggets are $9.99 or $9.95 iirc so unfortunately you can't unless ordering a water ($0.05) as well.
Oh yeah true, I can't find water for $0.05 but I guess you'd just add another sauce for $0.50 instead or something like that. I haven't been able to find the nugget deal on the app though anyway :(
Hopefully it's only a matter of time until they update the app! Bit of a sweet tooth so I'd pick up the soft serve cone if worse came to worst.

I don't think 4 crappy little burgers and a cone each is that many calories.I think the main problem with these burgers is that the actual nutrients won't get absorbed because of them being highly processed. I recall there was a marital accident a few years back and one of the ship containers was washed ashore (I think it was in NZ) and was full of palettes of these burgers. Coming from where, nobody knows. The fat content on the other hand is readily absorbed. So, the end result is a crappy diet despite looking ok calorie-wise.

Why can't you order delivery through the Maccas app? Really strange, you'd think they'd get more delivery orders using an App rather than a web interface (which isn't mobile responsive either).
I suppose it's because the app is horrifically bad as it is. Instead they have to partner with UberEATS at some of the delivery stores which seems a bit inefficient for a company as large as Macca's

If you dont know what I'm talking about in the comps section there is a $6.5m (yes, 6 and a half MILLION) giveaway of food and stuff :)I upped my order to $30 and it still didnt take the discount off. I was logged in too
After adding your order to the cart, go back to Main screen - Click on 25% voucher - Apply to order.
Spent about 30 minutes to save $5… App crashed for Drive Thru and Pick Up orders. Scanning the voucher at the Kiosk resulted in an error - even manually entering.
Eventually the manager of the store just put it through the register with a manual discount not even equal to the 25%.Oh well, you win some, you lose some.
Also not seeing the offer applied to the order.

Tried using it today… like the last time they had 25% off and when they had the $5 big mac meal recently it refused to work.
Had an error at checking in. I love the deals. But this app is terrible.
Just an FYI - for the $5 wrap of the day the discount amount if calculated from the original price.
Today I got 2 McWraps of the day for $6.40 2x(($7.20-$2.20) - ($7.20x0.25)) where it should total $7.50
I didn't use the app to purchase but chose the 'Scan' button on the offer and entered it into a kiosk in store.
Final price is presented right at the end just before payment (it looks like you'll pay $7.20 for the wraps up until just before you tap your card).
Check with the staff which wrap is 'wrap of the day'.

Last time this offer was running I went to my local McDonalds, the app prompts me need to connect to Maccas wifi which I have because it reckons I was not close enough. Connected to wifi then proceed with the order and upon finalising my order, get an error and ask me to order again. Done this several times and still no go, looking really stupid messing around with the app in front of the counter because the app doesn't recognise otherwise.
Total waste of time. I wish I could rate the app zero if I can. The app is a total joke and even though the offer is alright, there is no point if you can't use it. Only if the app was developed by the same people that did the KFC (worked flawlessly all times) then it would be another option, but for now I'm staying away from Maccas which is poor value without the offers that hardly works.

How am I meant to redeem this WHEN 9 OUR OF 10 TIMES the app crashes before I even get to checkout, and when that ONE TIME i get through check out, THE APP CRASHES, NOT REALISING THAT MY CREDIT CARD WAS STILL CHARGED. BIGGEST PIECE OF TRASH EVER DO NOT USE

It says that you aren't charged until the counter staff process the order, which doesn't happen until you have arrived at the drive thru and tell them your four digit code, which you don't even need your phone for. Or is a counter order different? I went tonight and it was easy as.
I agree, use this app with caution - beware that even if it gives you an error, it'll still charge your cc.
Not worth the time and effort to chase up a refund with maccas hq over this crappy app.

I got charged without getting an order confirmation and no receipt as well. How did you all proceed with getting a refund? They told us via FAQ we have to go back to the bank. Which is bloody BS if they have charged me.

hmm it expires today but I thought that meant midnight.
It seems to have expired, went to use it and it was gone. A bit annoying considering it was supposed to finish today, which would usually mean at the end of the day. It happened the last time too!
