  • Is the the point earning per booking or the number of diners per booking? Also how points do you earn?

    https://www.dimmi.com.au/about-dimmi/dimmi-rewards

You only can get 2,000 points per booking, and you need 10,000 points to get a $20 voucher….

  • Has there been a drop off with users or submitted bargains? Just seems strange to have a few that I would never of expected on FP/top deals

  • "Please note that you will not receive 10,000 points for making a review."

Does that mean the offer is basically the requirement of leaving a review waived?

    • No, you'll get 1000 points after leaving a review, making for 11000 points earned.

      • the 10,000 might be a typo for the usual 1,000:

Please note that you will not receive 10,000 points for making a review.

        • 10000 is for the booking
          1000 is for the review

  • Did anyone get a confirmation for the 10,000 points when they booked?

I did not get any info on whether or not the booking worked.

    • I did this last time and got the points after a while - but there was nothing in the way of confirmations or info - I had to note it down to follow it up, and luckily noticed the points were there in my account. I'd forgotten actually and just checked my account again - yep, 13,000 points in there (I can't recall where the other 3,000 came from). Good find OP!

    • On the booking confirmation page there's a Promotional Code entry that doesn't make it to the email. I screen shotted the web page during the last promotion.

  • Only redeemable at selected restaurants

    • any minimum purchase at selected restaurants when redeeming the voucher?

      • +2

I don't think so but they tend to be one of the more expensive ones.

        • There are a few good value / cheap restaurants in Perth.

  • Thanks!

  • If you have an Entertainment book, you can double-dip - use Dimmi to book a restaurant in the book then get your 10000 points.

NB: Having said that, I've never used my Dimmi points (got 23000 currently) as entertainment book/Groupon/Living Social, etc. are better value.

    • What about using with the 50% off food at selected restaurants?

      • That's over.

Edit: Actually, I'm mistaken. Just had a browse and some restaurants still have 50% off food :).

I think that is the ' Flash Promotions.'

    • Any kind of stacking permitted depends on the restaurant. I tried to pay for a flash 50% off with a Best Restaurants card & they wouldn't accept the card. Other restaurants are pretty liberal with deals.

  • Thanks OP!

Just for info, this does not stack with the Dimmi flash offers. It is in the fine print that you won't get points for flash offers but I still put in the promo code for my booking last night and no points were awarded. Worth a try and still good value with the 50% off all food :).

I just booked with 10K points via the redemption process and used the promo code above, as well. The confirmation page showed the promo code & the My Bookings page has both the Redemption & a pending 10K points.

I booked with Dimmi and forgot to apply the code so just cancelled and rebooked with the code (just letting anyone know who might be kicking themselves for forgetting too)
