WARNING - When Dominos say 50% off pizzas they are probably referring to how much smaller they are now!

      • yeah, i notice pizzas are getting smaller and they also just removed chief best.

you can still get it in native america

        • @PAOK11: its better to buy 2 pizzas and paying double rather than getting it from america considering the ticket price and all

Pizza Hut is better IMO, Abo

        • +1

@OzSikh: I dunno, I had Pizza Hut the other day and it was even more feral than Domino's. I ordered a thin and crispy base which was a weird thickness (not what I'm usually used to as thin but not like a traditional/classic crust either) and definitely not crispy at all.

          OzZikh & aman00024.

These comments are rude and unnecessary, as is accusing users of negative voting your comments (not for the first time, furthermore these accusations are actually often incorrect). It seems there is some past issue with the both of you and I see some evidence that at least one of you is following the other around targeting their comments, such harassment won't be tolerated, nor is your behaviour going unnoticed.

The next time there will be no warning or reply from moderators, just penalty box time.

Please move on and do not reply any further, these comments from both of you are inappropriate and I'll also mention that an eBay deal has nothing to do with pizza.

Go out and enjoy your weekend.

        • @OzSikh: don't call people that. You look like the idiot if you use that word.

        • @Meconium: what word ?

  • +1

What is the price of a traditional (are these the cheapest price bracket?) these days?

Even at 50% off the Value pizzas are most likely still cheaper. Yes, I know the value pizzas aren't as good as the others, especially lately, but who would pay full price for a traditional pizza? Aren't they like $15?

    • +3

Unfortunately what you just said is true.. $5 value range is the cheapest.. The rest is a rip comparatively. I personally can only get the traditional because of delivery.. even though the pepperoni is my favorite. Just had some of the premium's not more than five minutes ago.. all tasted shit..or same as the traditional.. The cheese loaded one tastes exactly the same as the value range with like a very tiny sprinkle not more than a finger of maybe chives and onions or parsley.

Stick to the value range pickup if you can but if you are like me.. The 3 pizza delivery deals every once in a while is suffice because travels.

    • Traditional is $10.95, $11.95, $12.95 or $13.95. Price varies per store.

Yeah they'll be the cheapest range that this voucher applies to. The voucher excludes value, Melbourne range, Hawaiian and BBQ pork which are $5 - $9.95ea.

      • Hmm.. for $10.95 > $5.47 I would give traditional pizzas another try over the value range (for the extra 47c) but unfortunately I think they are more like $12.95 here which is $6.50 x 3 or 4 = $26 compared to $20.

Trouble is finding good value range pizzas though..

        • I personally like their prepped spicy veg trio pizzas. The second one is pretty damn good for a vegetarian pizza imho. If you want you can just change the sauce to experiment.

$5 for a meal is very good in my books.

If only they made a $5 pizza with pineapple I would be set.. pineapple on pizza is the best for me.

          TeamPineapple

    • $13.95, $16.90 for premium.

80% off and you have a deal.

    • +7

Yep. 50% off is just normal pricing.

    • 99% or broke.

  • +1

Great news. Got a free Loaded Supreme with the deal yesterday, and it was damn good for a Domino's pizza - stacked with topping unlike the cheaper ranges… Still not worth $16+, but for around $8 I'll definitely grab another one.

  • -1

I think my local dominos got me banned because I am master menu hacker. I tried for 3 days to order pizza online, it tells me I have no account, my IP is disallowed and that orders are not available to that address. There has never been any trouble, but I have figured how to get chicken and prawn pizzas on vouchers with no upgrade charge, and do it every order, but it only works online. My last order was 4 chicken/bacon upgraded pizzas for $30 - delivered. Tthey no want my custom anymore :'(

    • +1

      How?

      • Topping swap x2 for free.
It's no secret, the customise page states it.

        • What do you swap out? And on what pizza?

        • +7

@corbz: Get a supreme, swap out pineapple and italian sausage, add prawn and chicken. I swap out sauce for bbq too. They gave me back my account :D This 50% off code helped me get 4 chicken prawn pizza for $33. Guess what I'm having for lunch. Hopefully more people doing it doesnt stop them offering chicken and prawn as swap outs, as this hack is my bread and garlic butter.

        • @stormii: Dunno why they'd block you… I do similar all the time - swap capsicum for prawns (all 5 - or less - of them).

    • -1

Just tried it works, but not for swapping parmesean cheese

Ok I finally did it… got to my front door, did the one hand key, twist knob, key other lock with my one hand.. .. all good… door is open… and drop the pizza.

On looking through the wreakage, decent amount of topping, the base was sub par though - kinda what you expect for their fast process. Wanted thin and crispy, more like just med base. Maybe order chessy crust will ensure its cooked longer

When I ordered, it gave me 8mins to complete, got there in 12 mins and it was on the shelf.

      • +2

Parmesan Cheese is a free topping? Put as much on as you want, free toppings don't attract any surcharges!

        • you are a legend!!

        • +1

@Savas: You should see my quick orders.
          $5 value range pizza
          Add Garlic Sauce
          Add Parmesan Cheese
          Add Basil Drizzle
          Add Oregano
          Add Chili Flakes
          Add Spring Onion
          Add Crème Fraiche/Pizza Sauce

          Repeated multiple times :D

Who would spend $15 on a traditional pizza when you can just overload a $5 one haha!

        • +1

@pennypincher98: i had no idea!! this is awesome, thank you.

        • +1

@Savas: Haha no worries! I always order online but if you were stingy/cheap enough you could do this in person and they can't say no! Just be wary though with the basil, if you ask for double basil you'll get massive splodges in some places and none in others xD

I have added 4x Parmesan Cheese before without paying extra, but the look I got when I picked it up was priceless haha!!

    • -1

Why are you sharing this? Do you WANT it to get patched??? (profanity) me.

  • +1

just wondering how much inches did they take of the pizza? ( i heard they reduced it)

    • Honestly as a long time domino's consumer.. not many.. It's still quite the same to me personally.

  • +6

Very disappointed that they keep shrinking the range and increasing the prices. Chef's best were decent value (with vouchers), the "premium range" not so much.

    • +3

Damn it. No more Chef's Best. :(

Well my belt is happy, no longer hitting Dominos every week.

  • +9

Bought a pizza from Dominos yesterday. It was the lamest, saddest excuse of a pizza ever, and I actually used to like Dominos until this order. Toppings were very sparse, sausage and pepperoni precision cut to a micro thickness. It was a traditional range pizza for it's new price of $14.95, +1.50 Sunday surcharge and 1 free pizza as per Sunday email coupon.

Doing the math - at 11.25 inches, the area is 99.35 inch squared, for $14.95 minus whatever discount you find.

Costco does their pizza at $14.99 for 18 inches, and area of 254.34 inch squared, with toppings which can actually be visually identified. That makes it 2.5x the size of a Dominos pizza with far better toppings.

While Costco is not suited for all, it demonstrates that Dominos is by no means a good option any longer. The $5 value pizza range is the final pizza range worth buying from Dominos.

  • +2

Will post this as a comment because it is very similar to this deal.
Voucher code 517952 is the same deal except for the fact it only runs from August 21 - August 27 and only excludes Value and Melbourne Range pizzas, so if you want Spicy BBQ Pork & Bacon or Hawaiian flavours, this code may be better.

    • Thank you, just updated my post :)

      • does not work here at my store

  • This code did not work for my local store (Merrylands) however when I bought pizza they gave me a different code: 457555

    • Thanks for the code, I've added it to my post. The original coupon starts on the 21st Aug, so that's why it didn't work.

      • Haha no worries,I probably quickly tried it when I was hungry and didn't bother to read the date lol.

  • I'm kinda confused. If I want a premium range pizza say Garlic Prawn is it the original price 16.90 * 0.5 = 8.45 then an addition 2.95 on top so $11.40 per pizza total?

    • +1

Good point, I have no idea why it says that (maybe 2.95 per extra "premium" topping?).

However, half price applied just fine for premium pizzas, $8.45 ea.

      • Ah sweet even better, I'll defs be picking one up then, cheers :D

        • +1

you can often recreate premium pizzas for traditional prices using the 2 ingredient swap feature

        • +1

@la ciudad respirando: or build your own which are included in 50% off.

        • @wxyz234: I recreated the pizzas we regularly have with a few more toppings on the pizza mogul website for the same price as a traditional pizza and get 25 cents per pizza back☺

  • +2

610292 is 40% with an expiry of the 30th just in case you have trouble with your local stores accepting 50% codes.

  • Confirmed 517952 working with Traditional pizzas.

  • +2

luckily I have a cheap local that destroys Dominoes in quality and size. Great offer for those with limited options! thanks OP

    • What's your local.

      • Pizza Boys Mulgrave

  • +6

Wow they removed chef's best, increased the price and reduced the size of the pizza.

    • +1

Chef's Best pizza was my go to pizza. It's a shame they no longer make them.

  • +1

holy cow their delivery price is $10 more than their pickup… This deal halves it though.

Anyone who has worked at Dominoes as a delivery driver able to explain their pay structure??

    • My understanding is it works like this:

      1. They pay their staff the minimum wage legally allowable.

      2. They then coerce the almost 100% foreigner staff into handing back at least half of it in cash, in order to keep their job.

      3. Profit (non-declared and declared).

  • +8

"Would you like to pay $3 extra and have it delivered in under 20 minutes?"
    No
Next screen - "estimated delivery time - 6:15" (18 mins)
    Nice try guys. LOL

    • Depends if it's during origin

    • the real bet is whether you think they can't (assuming they still have the thing where you get a free pizza if it doesn't get done in time). did it once to get over the delivery barrier and to see what it's like, and the guy rocked up on the time limit, but must not have gone through the system in time because I got an email saying I had a free pizza.

      • I had the opposite experience, being told my offer had been delivered and asking for my feedback a minute before cutoff time and the delivery driver find my house a minute or two after.

  • +1

    Cheers, OP. Dinner sorted :).

  • +1

    Thanks OP, I have dinner!

  • +1

Got my Lunch just then, thanks OP!
Unfortunately Dominos pizzas are pretty small and just don't taste nearly as good as they used to.
Even with 50% off, they are priced the same as local Pizza shops that make them way better, at least for all the stores in my area.

  • +1

    awesome, dinner sorted. thanks OP

  • +3

Even with the coupons, the new range is not worth it! Off to find a better pizza maker. Dominos are a waste of money now.

  • +1

I don't know why people bag Domino's. My experience with their quality and size of pizzas has always been exceptional. I've ordered from 3 different stores in different suburbs and I always get an excellent product.

    • It's mainly more populated suburbs that have many other ripper solid deals and more options then say compared to more remote or less populated suburbs with no ripper solid deals so the information across the board is skewed.

  • OzB loves their Dominos.
