Swann has probably sold 50.000 units and there are maybe few hundred bad reviews… Who cares as long as money is made

This product is SO bad it is funny. The reviews speak volumes for themselves :)

It looks terrific on paper. What a shame it failed. I might have picked up one for this price.
Anyone have a good recommendation on a kit that I can get? I want one that I can check from my phone, budget is $400-$500. Needs 3-4 cameras.

Get some rechargeable cr123 batteries from eBay.
That's what I use and I reckon it's great to keep an eye on my dog and side gates.
The new pro model comes with rechargeable batteries, two way audio and arguable better motion detection, but is considerably more expensive.
Unless you are buying for the zigbee sensors to intergrate with smart hubs like Smarthings/home assistant etc , otherwise don't bother .
This product is a dud and apparently the cloud/platform is no longer supported according to some reviews ? Selling something that doesn't work is poor form and is a low act .
Essentially you are buying $139 bucks of paperweight
