    Good find OP.

If you don't mind the older models, they have stock of some of the series 5 and 6 units too.

I just ordered a 58" 58N5 from here for $931 delivered using the same code http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/222607300574 (was going to post a deal, but there's only 5 left.

They aren't older models just lower models, still 2017 TVs right?

      • Maybe, is that how they work?

        • +1

yes, not older models just lower end range.
the older model of this one posted was a M7000.
this has HDR and local dimming which yours doesnt but hey, I bet yours still looks great and only $900 buckaroos!
and the N7 is a super slim TV, skinnier than yours but again, no biggy.
          N5 rrp $1499 down to $930
          N7 rrp $2499 down to $1240

          @PVA:

Thanks for the info, that is handy.

As for HDR, it isn't really a feature I was specifically looking for, but I believe that the 58N5 actually does have it. Lots of interesting discussion in this WP thread:

          http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/2638615

The claim is that it has HDR, even though it isn't advertised.

"Guys, the 58N5 has HDR with 10bit colour depth and 50Hz refresh rate.
320nits brightness with a native contrast of 5000:1.
Direct LED panel manufactured by Innolux"

and a few posters confirmed that their PS4 recongises that it can do HDR.

I'll be happy either way so doesn't worry me if it turns out it doesn't have it

      • As far as I know the M7000 series, for instance, was a high-spec MY16 model but Hisense introduced this N6/N7 etc nomenclature for their MY17 models, so the N7 is a higher NIT model than last years M7000 series but still probably holds similar value/options unit-for-unit.

That's my understanding anyway. I wouldn't purchase on that basis, if you need more clarification I'd suggest speaking with a rep or dealer, or maybe even just ring Hisense direct.

        Hope that helps. :)

I'd be more keen on the 65" series 7 for $2040 delivered. Very cheap!

Code can't be applied to this.

It's the video pro factory outlet

      Different seller names

  • $1220 delivered inc. cashrewards

    51.18% off RRP

  • are there still issues with aspect ratio or there released firmware to fix it?

  • Is this fake "100hz" or is the panel actually 100hz?

If it's actually a 100hz panel it could probably be overclocked to take a faster framerate for gaming etc.

  • What's the major advantage with this model over the 55N6 which is considerably cheaper?
