Hi

Last week I was reading this article about the new trend in Australia.

While searching for a new phone I came across this.

It's on pre-order. Prices are varying from AU$ 9.10 to AU$ 19.52. Code "mask30" will bring price down by further 30%.

It's time to get ready for summer.

Cheers

I pity the people who have to wear these because they get sun spots instead of tanning.

  • thanks, was looking for supplies to rob a bank, this will do the trick.

        • not sure if those masks will do you (or anyone) any favours….

  • I don't know about this offer.

The brand that claims to be the "original" says they sell exclusively through Amazon and facekini.com.
The material here is ungraded for UPF while the other one is rated UPF 50+.
The one at facekini.com does not have the obvious seams across the garment either.

The real concern is the possible lack of effective sun protection. There's some fun designs here at least.

      you think too much…stay indoors

      • Don't want anyone to get sun damage when they thought they were safe :) It's dangerous out there

Facekinis need to be banned from being sold anywhere in the world on the basis it is visual pollution.

      how culturally insensitive!

      • There is no "Culture" to this PoS. Came because idiots in China who wanted to go to the beach, but did not want to develop a tan on their face and thought of this latex water proof method to cover it from the sun. Seriously, if you are afraid of a little sun tan, then WTF do you go to the beach?

  • Asians don't want to get a tan.
They aren't going to spend Millions on whitening creams then go down to the beach uncovered.

They are actually all paying homage to TISM.

  • So many people are going to drown in these things. The whole thing is just scary. From every aspect.

    • They've been in use for over 10 years now
