Yeah it's pretty gross but it's still beating every price on static ice. I was seriously gonna build a new pc this weekend, so the timing is right for me.
Avoid CPL like the plague, they have the worst customer service. Even worse than MSY!

I've been away from AMD for a while, what's the difference between the normal and the X variant?
Also how good is the multicore for the likes of running Vms, ? Pretty good performance?
The different between X and normal is overclocked, one is factory did it for you. Ryzen is good for multitasking or CPU intensive software.
X is factory overclocked and does not include CPU cooler. It's recommended to buy non-x and simply overclock it to X clock speeds.

Did not know that you could get this with the LED cooler as well. Standard is no LED on the fan. The fan I got had no LED and that is the way it is listed on AMD's website as well. Anyone else confirm this?
I'm pretty sure this 1600 does not come with the RGB/LED cooler. It comes with a standard black Wraith Spire. I think they've made a mistake in the listing description.
Only the 1700 comes with the RGB cooler.
Good spot. Basically everyone has jacked up their prices grossly but this is still a deal. The 1800X from Futu is also a deal.
