      Google's suite is great if you live in the Google ecosystem, but the tools are fairly minimal and there is no support for other cloud services.

      After opening some fairly large and complex files, creating new documents, and editing existing files, I will rate them as below:

      1. Kingsoft's WPS Office
      2. MobiSystems OfficeSuite Pro
      3. Microsoft's Office Suite
      4. Google's suite

      Microsoft have separate apps for each application like Word, Excel etc, whereas OfficeSuite is all in one platform

    Does the licences carry use through 'forever' as we upgrade phones (using same userid) ? And for 20cents do we get liftime updates to newer versions or do we get dot release type updates only?

      That won't happen, as it is Microsoft's own proprietary format that they wish to keep as such. They do not licence it out to third parties.

      Yes, more efficient. Try opening larger files or complex excel formulas files to benchmark the performance.
