its $65// wear it at night time so people wont notice the quality :)

  • that is cheap. 2 bad i just bought a new business suit.

It would be perfect for the races (Melbourne Cup) etc when you know your suit is going to get covered in some tarts champagne.

Ewwww polyester suits. Friends don't let friends wear polyester suits. Unless you're a fan of smelly armpits, sauna fanatic, or you intend to turn it into a male stripper suit.

    Jeez! No thanks!

  • wouldn't wear it to work but $65 is pretty cheap

  • I guess this deal should be good for people who have to wear a suit every day to work……like lawyers I suppose.

    • Except judging from how much those lawyers charge you, they probably wear the likes of boss, zegna, canali or brioni or a bespoke one from savile row. :S

      • hahha bespoke - what a stupid word

        • Don't you know there's a rule that says if it's expensive there is a need to have a fancy word for it :P

            @blahman: That's preposterous!

I just spat out my jus when I read that !

            Now…. Where's my Coulis?

lawyers? if you're denis denuto maybe

    it's the vibe

Rivers have $38 suits every so often… they are great for paintball or work christmas parties i guess… anywhere the spew just washes off

Interesting that it's being sold with all the Halloween gear - maybe something to wear for Trick and Treat-ing with the kids, as a lawyer :-)

I bought the Peter Morrissey suit at BigW few weeks back and while it's not as cheap, I'm quite impressed with the quality for $130 - http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/lifestyle/the-new-black-is-… ($100 was sale price when it first launched but was all sold out at my local BigW)

These are good to just wear at night when people are not going to take notice of your suit because they have had a few and its dark in most places anyway. I would rather go to Witchery Man though and spend $190 on a suit though, they have great specials. Alot marked down from $600 to $200 or so.

    • Do you wear clothes for yourself or for other people to judge you for?

      • do you read the site rules?

    • Do you wear clothes for yourself or for other people to judge you for?

      • +1

        You can say that again.

  • You buy a suit for quality and fit, this is neither.

    • ^^ has seen neither the quality nor the fit of the suit, so the neg should be disregarded accordingly.

    • +1

Reporting your neg as It is not valid! This is ozBARGAIN not Oz Quality!

      • nor is it oz fashion
        nor oz idol
        nor oz ten tay shus

There are some things worth spending a lot of money on, and one of those things is high quality suits.

To anyone who is thinking about buying this suit, I hope you change your mind, and if you do buy it, dont go anywhere near cigarette lighters.

Erm, judge all u like but i will be checking these suits out. Im an in the process of looking for a internship and require a suit to look proffessional for 3-4 hours. UNTILL i land a job, this suit (IF it fits/available etc.) is a bargain and gets my vote, at which point i will chuck it.
Not everybody can afford a high quality suit or even needs one. :p +1 Aldi yet again.

  • 'horses for courses', at least you have a choice!
but i have another suggestion, if you want a decent quality jacket/suit for cheap, take a look at vinnies/smithies shops, if you're lucky you can get a brand name like hugo boss in great nick for cheap, and it's for a great cause too! look good, save $$, and earn karma…. ;)

    • just hopefully it's karma, and not the spirit of the previous owner who died while wearing this suit

      • and was probably buried in it as well, until enterprising grave diggers made an appearance.

    • Good luck finding one of normal size. While there are brands like Boss there, they are almost always too large for a normal person.

  • Pretty sure all suits are machine washable @_@ just different machines?

  • Oh FFS…this sale just HAD to be held the day after "International Suit Up Day"….a$$holes

Now we can all get that "ex-convict" look, without having to spend a fortune.

Will this get me employed by one of the big 4?

    • Who are Big 4?
      www.big4.com.au??

Or, did you mean Big W?

      • I'm guessing he means the banks.
