Thought was 6S Plus for the moment there.

    • Yeah, the 6S Plus/7 Plus are the best models.
The screens are much better due to extra size, the cameras are much better, and the battery life is great.
The 3D Touch does ensure a longer lasting software features and support, and the body is much more rigid than the earlier models.

Although, the base 6S/SE are okay, and the iPhone 7 slightly better than both.
The iPhone 6 Plus isn't a very good mid/high-end phone today. And the base iPhone 6/5S are even worse.

    16GB, 32GB, 128GB are the same price? $529

    • no they are not !!

      • +2

If select 128GB option, the price is the same, only after u added to cart, it changed to $849. Obviously its their web site problem.

        • On my computer, price changes as soon as I select 128gb. I don't think their website has any issues.

        • @OzSikh:
i am using tablet, so it can be different. i have tried a few times so there is no doubt from my side.

        • @slackme: the issue is with your device's browser

        • +1

@buckster: Which means it's an issue with the website.

        • @buckster:
I was using chrome, up to date so it was the website.

        • @slackme: weird, so was I. No matter!

Apple have 1 year worldwide warranty.

      • +1

        Not for iPhone.

        • -3

          Yes they do.

          https://www.apple.com/au/legal/warranty/products/ios-warrant…

IMPORTANT RESTRICTION FOR iPHONE, iPAD AND APPLE TV SERVICE.

Apple may restrict warranty service for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV to the country where Apple or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the device.

  • Anyone knows how long does it take for them to dispatch? Couldn't find it on their website.

    • +2

not sure for this, but I ordered the MacBook Air on Tuesday and got it delivered Friday morning. Amazingly fast.

    • +3

My two orders were delivered in 48-72 hours.

For some reasons, they don't advertise Fast Shipping. But they use DHL Express Service.

Is the new one coming out soon?

    • yes

    • +1

This is already a generation behind, Would be a third of the price of an 8 though.

  • Are these being shipped directly from Singapore and will there be issue with warranty?

    • Read the description in the post above

      • What will happen if you bring it into an Apple Store? Isn’t Apple gear supposed to be international warranty?

        • Not sure about that.

        • Assuming it is the same model Apple AUS sells, they will be able to provide warranty support. So basically, if you have the USA CDMA version, then Apple AU won't be able to support you (because they don't have replacement stock for that model).

        • Yes for 1 year.

        • +1

@netsurfer: They still honour the warranty and order a replacement from the US if necessary. I returned my US bought iPhone 5 and they replaced it with a new one, which was also US version.

        • @bio: okay, great.. good to know.

    16GB iPhones should be illegal

    • Certainly at ~$500. That what sub $100 phones should have now.

      • +1

Yet people still buy them… I'd rather an LG G6 at this price.

    • My wife's "16GB" iPhone 6 has less than 12GB in total. That should be illegal

  • struggled to sell 6s 128gb as new condition less then 1 year old for $650, yet $499 for grey stock 16gb is considered a good deal, go on gumtree get a used 128gb for $550-$650, aslong as its a year old will still have 1 year warranty remaining

    • I usually look at those sites before buying. Was looking for a 6s 128gb, but didn't find one for a good price. Ended up buying a almost new pixel.

      • Thought the exact same thing with the pixel deal the other day. On Gumtree you can get an almost new 128gb pixel XL in mint condition for $800.

    • Lol I know. Can buy a 32gb SE for 450 nowadays.

      • I thought the iphone SE only came in 16gb and 64gb.

        • +1

The 16GB & 64GB models were replaced with 32GB & 128GB models earlier this year.

      • +1

$399 prepaid and can be unlocked for free.

        • So the upshot of that is it makes this deal not a deal?

Iphone 6S 128G8 is for $699 at shopmunk Ebay. With 20% off, it comes to 559.2 , which is much better then 16GB phone. Use code PTECH20

    Also 1% cashback using cashrewards.

    • Do you mind sharing a link please ??

    • +1

The only iPhone at $699 on their eBay page is the 128GB 6, not the 6s.

    • +1

That is iPhone 6 not 6s

  • OK . Thanks for correcting.
