  • Battery on Samsung's phones are really bad… I have Galaxy S7 edge…

    • I assumed that at least you can replace the battery and get a new longer lasting one, I have an iPhone atm and jeez it will be at 30% and just turn off, don't know how I haven't smashed it yet pretty frustrating. It can't be worse than iPhone I think.

      • Sounds like something is wrong with it.

        • yea probably but been nearly 2 years now I don't think the iPhone people will fix it for free or anything. I think the warranty is only 12 months, its ok I just have to buy a charging case so its constantly at a high percent charge.

        • @cool kid: If you bought it in AUS and not import, you should still be covered. ACL gives you 2 years warranty on smartphones. But you'd better be quick. Go back to Apple. Won't hurt to try.

A battery should not degrade that quickly. If it's under warranty, they will replace the battery for free. And as I said, if you purchased it here, it should still be under warranty.

    • The S8 battery has greater longevity than past phones. Normally the max charge will degrade by 20% a year. This one will only degrade by 5% a year. That's what they claim anyway.

  • Be careful! I have one very bad experience with ShoppingDaily.com and my Samsung S7 Edge broke down after 3 months and no one wants to take responsibility. It is still sitting here as a piece of JUNK. It could be different company name but same people!!!
