  • Looks like a good price. Is there a time limit on the stay?

    • Oops I should have mentioned that. Thanks.
Max 2 hours but not enforced when I was there.
The dearer competitor - Coral Lounges are Max. 3 hours. Slightly better decore but similar food and drink and not self service for drinks.

  • Maximum 2 hour stay…better that the AA KLIA2 one though as it includes booze…. or maybe its just available not free….

Yep I found AA KLIA2 Lounge to be the worst lounge that I have EVER been in, including the Priority Pass Lounge at the old Kuala Lumpur LCCT and that was pretty crappy. However I think that people sleep upstairs there and that might be of benefit to some.
BTW the current AirSide PP Lounge at KLIA2 now provides a choice of about 4 freshly cooked dishes from a restaurant in front called 'The Bar' and it is 'Unlimited food'.

      • Klia 2 is the best airport for sleeping. Crash under the chairs below maccas or near the kids playground

    Any happy ending?

Don Muang, where miracles are made.

    • Wow, I'm sending my crippled uncle there right away. :)

Just for any young players, note that the main international airport in Bangkok is Suvarnabhumi Airport, not Don Muang.

    • International - Air Asia should go to Don Muang, Qantas/Thai Airways should not, I think.

      • Yep generally DMK is the Low Cost carrier airport. NokAir, Scoot, and a few others as well as AirAsia. Always check you ticket to be sure.

      • The figures for DMK are astounding, 2012-2016, passenger numbers went from 5.9m to 35.2m and aircraft movements increased 400%. The two BKK airports alone served 90m passengers in 2016. Big numbers & big money involved.

        • Wow! DMK has been getting a lot worse over the years and that explains it.
Without being racist, I guesstimate that 90% of DMK passengers are from China. And I know that on Sundays a lot of them fly out of DMK on Charter Flights. I made the mistake of flying out of there on a Sunday last month, and it took 1.5 hours to do document check (Online checkin counter) and 2 hours for immigration. In the Immigration 'snake queue' there were puddles of urine on the floor (I guess people didn't want to lose their spot in the queue) and sticky floors where people had walked through it. It was disgusting!! Lots of panic too with flights boarding and people stuck in queues.
