          If you have checked the cdkey site it said that the game cannot activate on Steam can only activate on ea download manager.

          This is very common nothing to worry. I will worry if it is a steam key because they are more strict on cdkey.

          And you can play on any server from the browser.

      steam is NOT THE ONLY ONLINE PORTAL to purchase and play games. The cd key you are being provided is an EA DOWNLOAD MANAGER KEY. I.e. if you were to buy the game directly from the EA WEBSITE AND NOT THROUGH A RESELLER LIKE STEAM, then you will be given a key. similarly, if you were to buy the game in a new box from a store, the key is also an EA DM key and you cannot activate on steam. Because steam uses its own keys.

      That being said, YOU GET THE SAME GAME AND THE SAME SERVER ACCESS. get your heads out of the sand and stop being controled by corporations

      if you were to buy from jb hifi, dicksmith or EB, inside the box is a cd key, This guy is selling exactly that, just a scanned foto of the key, sends it to you electronically. think of the costs he saves from taxes and postage. Those keys from aussie retailers cannot be activated on steam. so does that mean theyre fake too? of course not

      If you really wanted to, you could still add it to steam as a 'non-steam game'. Just that it won't count your hours(could use x-fire) and you don't get achievements.

    They are completely legal… It's like going to malaysia and using an Aus key there… It's legal but may or may not be against the terms & conditions of the game company.
    In this case: MoH is Electronic Arts who are uber nazi against grey-market keys like this one.. If they find out, expect your key disabled.

    BTW it cannot be played on steam because they are obviously not steam cd keys.. There are two different versions, steam or EADM.

      Playing SP and MP will be the same no matter EA or Steam.

      To them disabling the cd key… very very unlikely. You are still buying the game, in a way, and they would be open to many many lawsuits if they disable keys which were not obtained thru fraud or theft or hacks. Even if it against the ToC we in Aus have a lot of legislations which protect the consumer in cases like these.

    The negative votes will stay as the legitimacy of these CD keys is still questionable. It is different from you travelling to Malaysia or Turkey to buy a packaged game, but business trying to sell online to the Australians.

      Except his negative was about them being illegal which is wrong. It's not a copyright breach so what law do you think he's breaking? If it was a well thought out post about how evil the free market is when consumers have access to it or how this supports terrorists killing babies then sure it would probably be ok but not that. Not criminal, not civil and the only way it seems they can stop it is to have 'cancel & return' clauses with a supplier. Lucky for EA those suppliers aren't in this country as their actions, not the supplier, would be a civil breach in this country (clear ownership).

        Guys what the hell is the problem? I got a copy as well. This is a legit product key. Is steam illegal cause they sell product keys also? You get no physical copy for steam?

        You are buying an original product key and downloading teh game from EA. Why should we get ripped off cause we live in OZ and have to fork out over $100 for a game where no other country has to?

        I bought 4 copies yesterday for me and my mates and have been playing it all day. It works, is not illegal and saves you a fortune. At the end of the day its your loss. I am going to buy Modern warfare 2 for $20 tonight and not get ripped off by the steam 'special' of 60usd.

        Anyways, if you guys want to be ripped off then so be it.

          We ask sometimes additional information if we suspect the buyer or the amount of the order is big. We need to ask because some scammers stole other's paypal accounts and use when paying. And they open unauthorized transaction after they take the key. We lost at least 1300-1400 US$ because of unauthorized transactions. We need to protect us. Thanks for your understanding.

      To reduce some questions make a new category called Steam Compatible. Would help me pick out a game that much quicker. Also a coming soon category would be good and just remove the buy button. This way you can run some pre sales and folks who buy early will be able to get their keys quicker.

    These keys are not legit.. They are from questionable sources. These 'legit' key stores do not get legit keys.
