No-one cares about what you need.

        so many unhappy people.
tomorrow is hump day, be happy pls

    • why u got so many dislikes?
      what brings up the hatred?

      • +2

Is not hatred, is rejection of low effort and poor attitude comment :>

Also, is worth asking your local Bose if they will price match. Mine matched a non-Bose-authorised retailer's sale price ($400 a year ago) probably because I caught them in a good mood :>

Why do you need silver? Can you see with your ears?

      • Idontknowwhy

Can get Aus stock (and warranty) from VideoPro on ebay for ~$8 more…

    • Good point, so that means you could claim TRS on that?

      • I assume so, and if like previous eBay sales, you should get an invoice for the full amount before any discount (so $447) and GST/GST refund will be calculated on the full amount.

    • link please

      • Here for black, here for silver from Instyle Hifi.

I neglected to mention there was $5.50 postage, not sure if they charge for click and collect.

        • Am I missing something? These are coming up as $447.

        • +1

@llamaesque: Apply the 20% off code PRESENT. Will come to $363.10 total.

    • Good thinking, I'm going away in a few weeks so these will be great for the flight, plus I can claim TRS.

  • Can you plug in a microphone with these?

    • why? For phone calls? it already has a mic built-in…

      • Will it be good enough to use at work and taking conference calls etc?
Or is the mic a strange location/bad quality?

        • +2

Surprisingly the mic on these is actually really good. Haven't had any complaints when taking phone calls with them, except for maybe yelling a bit because of the noise cancellation

        • not sure as i dont have it…but based on what other ozb'ers have said it's very good…

        • @TheVoucherKing:
I think I'm just old fashioned - but the idea that there is no mic in front of my mouth is just off putting haha - it's like they're going to hear my voice reflected and muffled somehow

    • Microphone on these works fine, but when you use the microphone these switch to a weird hands free mode with just ok audio quality

    • Yeah you can but the inbuilt one is perfectly serviceable for phone calls in most cases. They actually pipe through the microphone audio when it's engaged so you can hear yourself better. For VoIP calls at a higher quality you might want to use a wired mic though as bluetooth switches to a much lower quality setting (mono, low bitrate) for calls.

  • their eBay prices are almost 20% more than their online store.

Still crying 😢 because I didn't get this

    • How did i miss that?? :'(

      • just an 1hr promos with no heads–up, in Jun if u didn't sit there every wednesday night for a whole night, then u wont get it.

        • I probably check OB 20 times a day and the moment I don't check, I miss an amazing deal. Need to step my game up.

    • I got one. Listening to them as I type this right now 😀

      • You just reminded me of the kid who stole my lunch money in year 3. Maybe it was you…

        • Someone stole your lunch money? Aww that sucks

    • Still crying after I cancelled that order.

  • +2

I would rather pay $8 more and buy from VideoPro which will be Aus stock (and warranty) and claim TRS

    • +1

Just curious but does everyone buying these intend on traveling in the next 60 days to claim gst? I would think using the TRS would only be applicable to a small number of prospective buyers.. no?

  • We have it good here. In Norway the QC35 is around $700 brand new

Honestly, when I used these they weren't as good as something such as the Sony 1000X in these categories:

    1) Sound Quality (Highs Specifically)
    2) Build Quality (More Plastic on Bose QC35 than i'd like, even though most of it is metal)
    3) Comfort (Over long periods of time QC35 became more strenuous compared to something such as Sony 1000X for me PERSONALLY)

The categories it did well in were:

    1) Battery Life
    2) Bluetooth Range

Overall, for the feature sets and whatnot. I'd highly suggest getting the Sony 1000X instead of these

    • +3

Did you miss the thread on the Sony's cracking?

  • I love my pair, if you are thinking about it i suggest pull the trigger
