    It appears to not have B28, if data is accurate. Google tells me it's the 🇨🇳 model

    • good find. i checked some of the review photo and the charger socket type is Chinese version. so no band 28. guess wouldn't bother me as a voda user.

      • are you going to. e with voda for next 3 years and if you hand me down the phone are they going to be on voda ….. or if you resell …… band 28 is very handy

    • How do you type the flag in?

  • Please be aware that this does not come with charge, usb type c cable and ear phone apparently. Android Pay is not usable.

    • while Android pay might not be available, tab and pay from the bank app (like cba) should work right? since it has nfc.

      also i check the official spec and it should have usb type c?

      • I don't get this. I thought as long as it has NFC it can do android pay. I have a zenfone 2 and it does android pay with my bank.

          Not if it fails SafteyNet.

          @PainToad:

          ^^ that's the answer.

          I don't think it is worth risking honestly.

        • @eriktufa:interesting did some reading. So basically if a device is rooted or runs a custom ROM it fails the Safety net check and you can't use android pay.

          It's probably a genuine ROM if they haven't opened the box but can't tell unless folks report back on that. Even if it is a Chinese region ROM, if you flashed a euro ROM that was compatible with baseband and bands should be ok right

          @adrianhughes1998:

          It makes sense. We can re-root it again and install stock rom from motorola. The problem I personally have is that it won't guarantee anything even if we install the stock rom. It may allow us to use Android Pay, it may not.

          Are you willing to risk it? If having no band 28 doesn't bother you then it may worth buying.

          I personally wouldn't and wait for another sale.

        • @eriktufa: that is fair points. If buyers report it did work then i may pounce - no band 28 does affect me at my work cos reception cuts out altogether at times - but that's cos i work in a basement.

          If mi max 2 wasn't same price and so cheap i would say this is good bang for buck for me. Others have their tastes though which i understand

  • I have Moto Z play XT1635-02 model bought from Expansys and does Android Pay.

    • Yeah this is XT1635-03
