    I just came back from Vietnam with Jetstar, was around $350 return. Not sure this is a bargain.

      I'm not sure this is a bargain for the exact same reason, Jetstar have had some fantastic sales on this route recently and they trump this.

          Agreed but at my age 60+ I must rely on (freebie) Visa Card travel insurance and Airfares make up the bulk of the minimum for me to qualify for that insurance

    I paid $A357 for a return fare SYD to SGN with Jetstar. These flight are direct, though with terrible departure and arrival times.

    The price I paid includes 15 kg checked in luggage both ways and a pie and coke on the return leg.
