      Seems like there was a 'manga model' refresh with better page turn speeds and 32gb storage, but it was only released in japan.

      Imo, very likely so, as it's the 10th year anniversary, there has already been some leaks.
      As the other person said it will most likely have the manga kindle benefits too.

      Devices aren't regional. You login with your Amazon account and it presents accordingly. Source? My previous Paperwhites were from Amazon Japan. I've never seen a Japanese menu - it's as if there were purchased locally.

      I'm not 100% sure but I think all Australian (non-grey market - a la Kogan) models are not ad-supported.

      Await further confirmation though.

      Just received my kindle from last week's Myer deal and it's ad free. I believe the version with ads is only sold in the states.

      Only .mobi but easily converted using Calibre program.

        Frankly not much. You can get a better PDF viewer, but the reason I do it is so that I can make the screensaver (when it is off) be the cover of the current book I am reading, which is much nicer than the boring amazon stuff by default.
