Is this legal to consume if you are a pro body builder? I know most use steroids anyway.

    • It's legal, its found in food, meat and fish have heaps of it.

Some people are non-responders to creatine as they probably get enough in their diet.

Seems pretty safe if you are healthy.

      • It's legal, its found in food

Steroids are also found in food. As is Caffeine.

        • -1

You look like you could do with some caffeine.

        • @Scab:

She don't lie, she don't lie, she don't lie,
          Caffeine…

        • @jv:

He won't die, he won't die, he won't die,

          Creatine.

      • Perfectly legal and there's an Arnie's biceps amount of science done on it. It can make some people (like me) grumpy if I take it every day but most people do fine with no other bad side effects that I'm aware of. It's also good for the brain, I did some googling about it for a mate but forget all the details now (lols). Plus if you are laid up due an injury it can help maintain muscle mass why you aren't able to exercise. But anyway, safe and legal…..

      • Seems pretty safe if you are healthy.

Safe for some, not for others. Try at your own risk.

  • Fun fact, I was just learning about Creatine in B.RN; don't ask me anything about it, I can't remember.

    • +1

      Ok I won't.

  • Pickup 20? Do u even lift brah? Why not pickup 40??

    • -1

      Do u even lift brah?

He's referring to picking up chicks at the gym…

      • 20 seems excessive.

  • Is this one good? Dissolves normally?

  • +1

For all you full natty brah's out there

    Right back at you, Homie.

  • +2

we're all gonna make it brahs

    • +2

Are the brahs for the side effects?

      • D cup brahs.

  • Creatine can apparently promote baldness. I've not used the stuff, but it's worth Googling if you're concerned.

    A link with scientific references - https://examine.com/nutrition/does-creatine-cause-baldness/

    • "Creatine may increase the rate of balding in men with Male Pattern Baldness, although the data needs to be replicated a bit to be more conclusive. This may only practically apply to persons with a family history or already present receding hairlines, since there is a significant genetic component for hair loss in male youth.[1]"

      I'll risk it…..

      • +1

OK. But high testosterone levels are also correlated with baldness. Lifting weights increases testosterone levels.

        • ^this
Correlation or causation? That's what it comes down to

        • True, but getting old decreases T as well, thus nature balances itself?

  • It seemed to make my muscles absorb more water. Felt like it was half placebo. Just take according to instructions

    • +1

That's how it works - more water in muscles -> faster metabolism -> torn muscles after heavy weight regrow quicker -> quicker muscles grows.

If you already have enough (from meat, fish, etc) or don't do heavy exercises -> no effect.

  • 1 kg is a lot btw. You could resell it to friends

    • It's not really that much. Mine's lasted about 6-7 months (5g/day).

      • so you didn't do, say, 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off?

        • Nope, I haven't read any benefit to cycling.

  • The only Creatine to get is made by Creapure. It is the only one rthat has been scientifically studied. Plenty of Manufactuers use it, just lodmark.

I get 1kg from Iherb for around $20 delivered, whatever brand is on sale. recently ALLMAX Nutrition brand.

    • Never mind, got my products mixed up.
