This is not a drill. Come Thursday 7 September, Lindt will be opening its first WA store at Watertown in West Perth. But that is not the most exciting part.

To celebrate, they’re giving away 1kg of Lindor balls to the first 100 customers to spend $10 or more from 7 to 10 September, so even if you're not one of the first 100 on the opening day, you've got three more days to get your hands on a kilo of free chocolate!

If you miss out on the kilo of free choccie balls, they’re also offering 50% off their fill your own pick and mix gift box range until 24 September.

    No, it's "the first 100 customers to spend $10 or more each day".

    So if you miss out, just stand at the cash register and refuse to complete the transaction until the following day.

      Was that Chokeby Road they used the be the corner of Murray street mall? They were a lindt stockist, I'm Not sure if the still have their Subiaco store or if they have closed down.

    When did Lindt store actually open? I got here about 10 mins before 9, because I assumed they opened at 9 (Watertown states it's opening hours at 9) and there were literally 300+ people lining up in a queue to even get into the store before 9am lol. Might need to bring a tent tonight for tomorrow morning ^^"
    Edit: yeah was told the store opens at 09:00.

  There were well over 100 people there by 8:30,geez Louise. Some guys had chairs set up and they were there before the security guard (before 6!).
