    • Do you have a link to the non pro on ebay?

    • +1

Should post that as it's own bargain

    • Please for the love of all things data storage post a link.

LOL…for seagate ironwolf, the cheapest I can see from eBay is here

Costed you AU$410 less 10% (with PAINT code) = $369

        • Is that for the Pro version?

        • @dtpearson: You could just click the link and check yourself but regardless, the answer is no.

        • @dtpearson: yes, the link has the pro version, you just need to type "Seagate ironwolf pro" on the eBay search field, once you clicked the link

    • That would be a great bargain!

Sure you aren't looking at the 6TB model?

    • Signing up to this thread, waiting on sonicentropy to deliver.

      • sonicentropy is full of shit

        • Who is sonicentropy? JV version 2.0?

    • I reckon you're talking about Shallothead seller's 6TB one $315 -> $283.50 ?

      https://m.ebay.com.au/itm/Seagate-IronWolf-6TB-3-5-SATA-Inte…

      • Is that the cheapest you can find on eBay ?
        It's almost $20 cheaper from http://www.warehouse1.com.au/epages/shop.sf/en_AU/?ObjectPat… despite eBay's 10% discount.
Warehouse1 also list the same drive on their eBay page … for an additional one hundred and twenty dollars !? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Seagate-IronWolf-6TB-ST6000VN0041…

        • The non pro is 284au delivered

Thats what I found that matched @sonicentropy's price.

        • Seems an Ok price and only $35 more expensive than Amazon. It is a shame Wireless one only use a single layer of the small bubblewrap plus the cardboard box as packaging. Don't buy 2 drives as they then wrap the bubble wrap around both - that is, drive against drive.

  • Barracuda Pro 8TB here for $319.50 with PAINT

    • Argh…2 HDD left and I have spent so much lately already….really tempted to click buy….

      • How are they so cheap? Even without the PAINT discount the closest australian seller is $500+

    • I had a look at this sellers other items a lot pf empty enclosures, they may be shucked drives I would avoid.

  • That's a non Nas barracuda Pro from a guy in New York with 97% positive feedback. My deal is better https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/327097

    • True but they are $370 now, cudas are good for zfs/refs, raid is sooo 5 years ago.

  • Another Option for NAS with lower TB/$
Amazon has the old model 3TB Cuda's (64MB, 7200RPM Non SMR) for $75US
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005T3GRLY
Works out $110AU landed (Parcel Point)
$36/TB (SMR is cheaper but not suitable for NAS use)
