    What are the antennas for?

    • +2

So you receive the video transmission obviously

These are FPV googles for remote control planes/multi-rotors. The antennas are for receiving the video feed (normally if there are two, they're for diversity receivers, allowing you to run different types of antennas. No sure in this case.)

      • Ah. Thanks. Had no idea what these were until you said "remote control planes". I've never seen anyone wear these when flying drones and such. The people I've seen tend to use their phones to view the video.

  • This is an absolute cracker of a deal. Competing goggles from China would be over 300$

  • anyway of hooking up these to a Dji mavic easily?

    • Only if your Android tablet has a HDMI output and your goggles have a HDMI input or somehow you convert that into composite for goggles without hdmi. Not worth it really as the mavic is slow and really only useful for photography :-)

      • Is it slow? Never noticed, not much experience though.

(And can somebody tell how slow it is with DJI goggles? They promise very little lag.)

        • Slow enough not to need super low latency video :-) may as well go the whole show with DJI goggles

        • He's referring to the aircraft speed, not the latency.

    • Epson BT300 but 10x the price

You could hot glue a TX05 to the top of a Mavic I guess? :p

      • Great idea! :-)

  • can someone please explain to me or show me examples of what I would use them for?

I have ps vr but i know zip about this.

This is for remote control planes/multicopters for doing stuff like this

      • Look for the shadows 3.30 minute in the video and other places.

  • so can i plug into my pc and use it as a monitor?

  • Wow they didn't label it a Promo item, so you could use coupons…
    Got US$11 off mine.

  • Coupon EACHINE8 on Banggood might work.
