Jaybird freedom is cheaper (at Jb) and from reviews sounds better than than the beats x. Bought a pair yesterday and really happy with the sound quality. Only issue is drop-outs when outdoors which is a design fault.
Yeah the Jaybird x3 rocks. It is sad that I have to return mine to Amazon due to connection dropouts issue.

I love mine (despite being a long term beats hater). IMO better than the airpods purely because of the isolation factor. Work flawlessly with my iphone, don't think I can remember having one dropout.

I like these overall but the cable length and stiffness is quite awkward, it forms a loop like this: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/3Dnd5hHuJDE/maxresdefault.jpg (Jaybird X3 on the right) which is not ideal.
I don't really like it against the back of my neck directly, but the length makes it easy to tuck under some of my shirt collars. Occasionally too short for others and end up tugging at them.
Compared to my previous JayBird X2, these sound way better. As I use iPhone/iPad, I charging through Lightning works better for me. Not sure about the stand-by battery life however. If the magnets put them in sleep mode, that would be magical.
At this price, I'd recommend them.

Don't like the length of the cable. But love the way it pairs and charges using the lightning cable.
