  • My parents have this system but its the DVD version. Works well

  • $499 for wireless HT system.. isn't that pretty cheap?

  • Interesting that it has Ethernet (network) streaming capability, and also accepts USB hosts too.

  • lack of HDMI input is my only problem. :-(

    • NO HDMI ??!

      yikes

        • outputs, not inputs, sadly.

          • @danoot: So it's realistically a home theater system for the bluray part only….

            Talk about lame.

          • @danoot: Fail on my behalf too… I should put my glasses back on! :)

          • @danoot: Does it have s/pdif input? That would be reasonable.

Otherwise you be crazy to buy a surround system with no digital inputs.

        • note to self: don't flail at buttons when you've made a spelling mistake. You'll post it twice.

  • +1

    This deal looks better…

  • I got the BD1255 from JB around 4 months ago for 565 picked up same day. Generally the sound quality is acceptable. Just dont expect the same result as a dedicated receiver with bookshelf speakers
