MELB10OFFBRIS10OFFPER10OFF

Seems to be targeted to those who received the email. Multiple cities. Works for existing users.

$10 off next Uber ride - Valid from 07/9/2017 to 15/9/2017. Code must be entered before you request your ride. Code is non-transferable.

Be careful when entering the code: (EXAMPLE: For MELB10OFF, the last 3 letters are "OFF" and not the number "0").

Sorry mods - tried to circumvent your prohibition as I think it is a genuine deal.

I also got this email but you entered the code incorrectly, it's MELB10FF

    • New users only? Which cities?

      • Woops I entered code incorrectly, it says for use in Australia cities where uber is available, don't have to be new user

    • See my comment below!

      • Yeh sorry, I misread it as 100 off when entering into app and of course didn't work

Haha that was me!! And I used…. NONE of them. On holiday and then sick for the last few days. Shattering.

That was me. But my Uber account has been havked and Uber does nothing about it to let me get it back. Have tried like 20 emails.

  • Looks targeted, couldn't get either code to work.

I think my original promo code post was correct - Be careful as it is MELB10OFF (the last 3 letters are "OFF" and not "0"). Have updated the code again.

    • Yep definitely MELB10OFF for me.

  • any code for uber eat?

  • Not valid, tried ADEL10OFF as well, lol

Hopefully Brisbane get a deal, been using uber heaps lately - A coupon would be nice.

Also wonder if you could use a GPS spoofer to put yourself in Melbourne - or maybe its only for selected email addresses.

    • I just spoofed to Melbourne and it didn't work either. Since it's for existing users only, they could just target it based on your most recent trip.

  • didn't work for me

  • didn't work for me

  • Nor me

What part of TARGETED don't you understand? It's not for everyone, and your neg vote is invalid.

    • +2

member since 2008 yet still doesn't have a clue on how voting on bargains works. I find that concerning

  • Not working for sydney users probably?

BRIS10OFF is a code too, got the email and put the code in and it worked 👍

    TARGETED

Yep, won't work if you have a wheelchair

    • "Uber policy states that drivers are expected to accommodate riders using walkers, canes, folding wheelchairs or other assistive devices to the "maximum extent possible". The company also has a "zero tolerance" policy towards discrimination of any kind."

That's what the article states in case anyone can't be bothered to read.

That's what the article states in case anyone can't be bothered to read.

But what did they do to the driver in this case? Why won't they tell the victim?

"The only thing they could assure me of definitively was they would not 'pair' me with this driver in the future, which suggests to me there will be no real consequences," she said.

Seems like they did nothing about it…

        • Not great, but at least with Uber you can hold drivers accountable. It's a bit harder to make a traceable complaint about a taxi driver that refuses a fare on the basis of race/gender/destination.

        • Why do people think they have a right to know the outcome of a complaint against someone?

I'd find it bizarre if someone made a complaint against me at work and then expected to know exactly what measures were taken by the company.

  • Didn't work for me either

  • Didn't work for me, def targeted.

  • I got the e-mail and it worked for me. Thanks OP.

  • didn't work for me.
