Been using this laptop for nearly a year and it's great. It is fairly heavy but I was surprised by how thin it is, mind you the last laptop I used was over a decade ago. Also the fan doesn't kick in until the CPU is working fairly hard so you could say it's almost passively cooled. Gaming performance is fairly decent too and plays most modern games at 1080p low/medium settings.

  • Product 20H5CTO1WWENAUB does not exist ???

Is that mean the deal has gone? I am new here

    • Available again.

      • thanks, just put my order in; and it is my first time using cash-rewards … hope I can somehow got $54

        • Have fun with that

  • I read in a review that the machine throttles the CPU at 90 degrees from 3.1 GHz to 1.3ghz, then as the temp lowers it removes the throttling in steps until the CPU again reaches 90 degrees and then it does the same again, continually cycling like this. Obviously this isn't going to be a problem for standard workstation tasks but it doesn't sound great for playing games when the machine is heating up.

    Any experiences with this?

Never noticed it throttling on mine but I've not been monitoring the CPU too much while gaming. It doesn't seem to get that hot, even while gaming. If I remember correctly the highest I've seen it is 70C. If it is indeed getting to 90C then I wouldn't be surprised to see throttling as that's a threshold for most CPUs.

  • In general how long will it take for them to ship?
Will miss the Amex cashback if not shipped out by 30/09.
