  • any ideas on getting bargain accom? (sleeping bag on the beach?)

    • Try hotwire

  • What's the aircraft?

I remember for a while it was impossible or almost impossible to fly to HNL with "Qantas" without actually ending up on Jetstar on the return leg despite QF flight codes, and then despite QF flight codes there were still no amenities or points, and lastly the QF aircraft was a dilapidated 767.

  • A330-200 though occasionally A330-300 fills in instead

    • Until they shove you onto a jetstar flight … lol

  • Hmmm, so potentially Platinum members can get an early flight from Melbourne to Sydney, go to the Qantas international first lounge for a long boozy rest and feast, then continue onto Honolulu. Might go and check out the flight time options.

    • or the AMEX lounge for those with the correct credit cards…?

  • Is this a good price, or a great price ?
haven't been watching any flights lately

    • +1

Good price for Qantas - Jetstar regularly fly for this or ~$100-200 less in sales.

  • Anyone familiar with the visa requirement?
