  • News Said iPhone 8 has smaller baterry capacity Than 7

    • +1

Won't matter much if the new hardware is more power efficient.

    • -2

      That's wrong

The physical size is smaller, with same battery life hours

    • iPhone 8 has less capacity than iPhone 7 but due to its better power efficient new hardwares, same battery life as iPhone 7.

  • free music streaming is only till march 2018

  • -1

Surprised to see this - why is iPhone 8 costlier than iPhone 8 plus on Vodafone website? I assume iPhone 8 plus is bigger than iPhone 8 …Apple Website

    iPhone 8 Plus- $34.13/month
    iPhone 8 - $36.91/month

    • ?? link dosnt work

      • Just a red plan and select device and check the prices

        • what plan ? how many months?

  • +1

$55 a month for plan? RIIIGHT.

Jeenee mobile has 5.5GB on month 2 month, unlimited calls/sms/mms for $25, 6GB for 6 month deal or 6.5GB per month for 12 month plan $25 per month.

    Same network.

So the real cost of the phone is $54 per month, 24 x 54 = $1296.

Retail price of standard iPhone 8 is $1079, iPhone+ price is $1229.

    NOT a deal.

    • You would be surprised how many people fall for it. Know quite a few people with virgin phone plans because they get the phone for nearly "half" price lol.

  • +1

Lets say you want to stay with virgin mobile. $30 Sim only plan has similar plan inclusions at the moment except $50 less international call credit.

    $79-$30 = $49/month for the phone. $49*24 = $1176 for the phone. That's $97 more than the pre-order price. I don't see the deal here.

If you don't mind other network operators, you can save even more as mentioned by matslurpee

    • +1

If you pre-order it, you have to pay the whole amount upfront. While with the plans you spread it over 24 months, just think the $97 as an interest. Secondly, some people might find getting it on plans cheaper, since they can off set it as expenses on their tax.

  • Virginmobile have 12 month sim only - $40 12Gb, $200 international call, unlimited local. Then buy iphone 8 plus with 0% interest for 2yrs - dunno where maybe harvey norman?! This seems to stack up better than getting their iphone 8 plus plan

  • no point for iphone8 I decide to wait for iphone888

  • Contract always worse than outright. Probably now you think you get good deal but remember you can't change it for 24 months.

    • Most people who get a contract plan already know that, and most don't have the cash or want to pay outright.
