      Haha thanks mate !

  • Yeh I was tempted to get a Dell monitor off their eBay using the code but wasn't sure if they had price hiked like other retailers, anyone know?

    • Just compare with their website?

They seem to have slight differences on a few of their products, like their xps 15 32gb ram, which is 200 bucks lower than the price on their ebay store (before discounts).

  • Seems cheap. Is this the best ever price?

    • Unfortunately, 1800 range is probably the lowest I've seen for the dell xps 15

  • Cheap but the shipping time is a negative.

    • I agree, on the other hand the 30 day refund policy kicks in the moment you purchase it.

  • Just curious if any of you seen XPS 15 drop around 1.5k?

    • I have been on a look out for it since last year sometime, and nope i have not seen it drop to that price before. Maybe in US you can get that price range for a different processor but not for Australia unfortunately. For the dell xps 13 i think i've seen it as low as 1.2 ~1.3k though if you are interested.

      • Thanks man, I think they are so over-priced for what they are. On average I am happy to pay about 1.5k for XPS, but shame, probably have to look at other brands now :(

  • Will the HQ processor run at lower power if you're not doing anything demanding?

    • Not exactly sure, but correct me if I'm wrong, i think they last 4 to 6 hours on general usage.

  • I own one of these and I'd advise all to steer clear of it. Good specs but I think poorly optimized so its slow and hangs

    • I agree, returned mine. It was really slow especially using Chrome. XPS 13 also has problems. Dell are not fixing anything as people just keep on buying them. I'd rather buy something else that just works.

What's causing it? Specs are about the best you're going to get.

  • Tossing up between this and the Inspiron Gaming 7500 that has $300 cash off right now. http://www.dell.com/au/p/inspiron-15-7567-laptop/pd

Is the form factor and finish of the XPS worth the premium? Same CPU and GPU.

    • The dell xps 15 uses gtx 1050 where as the dell Inspiron gaming 7500 has the Ti version nwhich can run a bit faster on gaming performances. But i think both laptop can run gaming just fine except that dell xps has a significant price difference if you compare it with money spec ratio.
