EDIT: 19/09/2017 11:20 am- Spoke with Senior Customer service officer from Dick Smith and he confirmed that $1167.19 will be the final price because the item will be shipped from Warehouse within Australia. eBay item page showing the item location is Melbourne VIC Australia. I am so Happy now as don't have to worry about the GST. :)

      TRS is not a problem for me, but is $1167.19 the final price? I'm assuming it is, but since it is being imported and the price exceeds $1000 AUD, in a normal situation the buyer would be required to pay 10% GST on top of the sale price.

  Even with import tax added, the price is still cheaper than AU stock… I guess this is where buyers need to decide which is more appealing to them; final cost or 2 years AU warranty. haha

    according to the ad:

    This product is BRAND NEW and comes with a 12 month Australia wide warranty. In the unlikely event that you require a warranty repair, we will collect your item, repair or replace it, then return it you at no charge. It is a requirement of warranty that you keep the original packaging for transportation.

    so i guess the warranty is from DSE/Kogan. ( i may be wrong )

    Not quite sure about this. But you are covered with Dick Smith 1 year warranty. From my experience, I never had any issues with my last purchase (iPad mini 2) from Dick Smith about 2 years ago.
