    Citizen Eco-Drive BM8470-11E $115.00 - 18% = $94.30 Shipped

Extraordinary, since their website offers it for $159. https://www.starbuy.com.au/citizen-eco-drive-bm8470-11e

  • Any idea where you'd get the nylon straps (like on starbuy link) for this leather one?

How many watches do you have WatchNerd, and do you wear them all at the same time, like both arms, legs and neck covered in them?

    5 year warranty is killer.

  • I don't even need this….. But I'm really tempted!!!

  • Want a black one of these

  • Any possibility to get one with a black strap?

That is one ugly watch… but it’s cheap… oh the Ozb choices !

I have this watch. The face doesn't have the green tinge that I'm seeing in this photo - it's just a cream face. Very happy with it.

I saw this model at the shops and it stood out in a good way which was a surprise.

The stock photos are great if you don't want to sell any watches, that's why I put links in the description to some wrists shots.

I saw it 'on sale' at the local Prouds the other day… for $299. Had a good laugh about that.

  • Thanks W.Nerd, Looking for a Seiko watch that look similar. Any recommendation?

This watch is thicker than Naviforce 9044?
    And no illumination in darkness?
    Thanks

I found it was cheaper in April

  • Great deal WatchNerd. Thanks for that. I just started getting into watches and bought an Orient Bambino from eBay recently. I've heard horror stories about buying watches from eBay but I think I got lucky with mine. Do you have any tips on how to hunt for authentic watches on eBay? Also, are there any other good watches sites for those in Australia?

Wow 6 sold today, don't people realise that they have to wait til 6pm, lol.

    • +1

Maybe they won't pay until then.

  • Op could you recommend a deal on the Tissot Visodate
I can’t tell apart from fakes to genuine on eBay

  • Hey WatchNerd, love your regular posts!
I'm in the market for a high end watch and just love the design of this https://www.touchofmodern.com/sales/ball-3fd8412d-dc68-4baa-… but my budget was closer to $1k haha
Know any similar styled watches for a cheaper price?

Also looking at watches for my dad. Day & date are a must, as well as Arabic numerals (ass opposed to Roman or none). I want to get him something of reasonable quality and have been looking at Seikos mainly. He also loves the idea of an automatic but he only wears his watch 2-5 hrs a day and I'm unsure if a budget auto will lose too much time. Budget is about $150~

Considering eBay's 18% storewide ends in under 2 hours, and Member WatchNerd's apparent preoccupation elsewhere, I hope you and he can forgive my intrusion by suggesting you consider these alternatives to that Ball watch …

Thanks for that, I've heard people talking about that particular Hamilton watch. Great deal and actually looks much better outside of the promo photos too!
Unfortunately I'm about to fall asleep here, so I shouldn't make any decisions I might regret tomorrow haha

I might make a post on one of the watch forums too tomorrow and see what opinions they can give me. It's almost time for Black Friday sales anyway, so maybe it's a good thing I'm holding off right this second.

Just realised you need an account for touch of modern, the watch is the BALL TRAINMASTER PULSEMETER II CHRONO.

        • +1

Yes, I saw the Ball. Both the Hamilton and the Louis Erard are very nice. Come back with a link or photos after purchasing.
